It was a successful and fun Back to School night and Spring Sing . Finley is so lucky to be part of an amazing program and school.

100 days of school down !

The boys and I braved the weather and took a trip to see my sister and to visit the .
Finn got star student of the week at school so he was able to take his class’s “lucky duck” to the aquarium with us as well .

The boys saw Santa today ! 🎅🏼
Finn asked for gum and Hudson didn’t try to take Santa’s glasses off.

TK 2023/2024

I have so many emotions going on right now but here we go!

Finn’s first dental visit was a success ! He was so excited to go . Teeth are healthy and looking great ! He got a new Spider-Man toothbrush , bubble gum flavored tooth paste, and his own floss !

7 months old !
This lil spunky kid is getting around these days ! He scoots along the floor to get to where he wants to be . He has also mastered going from sitting to his tummy back to sitting. Along with all those milestones, he has finally got his first tooth🦷 . Time is flying by and I’m so grateful to be able to witness all of this growth. I love you my Hudson !

This is 6 months !

at six months, Hudson is sitting up, unassisted most of the time ,rolling around scooting and pivoting on the floor during tummy time and teething like it’s nobody’s business .
He started solid foods and his favorite is sweet potatoes.
He loves it when mommy, daddy and brother play peekaboo and give him lots of kisses and tickles.
I love you my lil chonkers !

First and last day of Pre-school
Aug 10th 2021 - June 30 2023

Today marks Finley’s last day of preschool. Next year he will be starting TK at El Portal Elementary, which means he will be coming to work with mommy every day!
I’m so thankful for the staff at Discovery Depot for nurturing, teaching, and caring for Finley these past two years. We are beyond grateful.

4 1/2 month update !
This lil blue eyed boy is rolling on his tummy and back all the time now . He’s also found his cute toesies and is babbling non stop.
He is also a drool monster who loves chewing on his hands and blankets . Mommy, Daddy, and Finn love him so much .

I’ve put this post off for quite a while because this is one of the most difficult things I’ve had to do. My sweet mom, the center of our family, passed away on January 17th of this year.
If you knew Ines, then you knew she was a force to be reckoned with. She loved fiercely and loudly. She supported me and my sisters in every endeavor that we began, every dream that we strove for. I fully expect that if she had lived, she would have given that same energy to the dreams of her grandchildren.
She loved her grandchildren with just as much fierceness, and I am so grateful that Finley will always have the memories of Gigi to carry with him. She filled her role as grandma with just as much joy as she did in motherhood, and her relationship with Finley will be a blessing to him for the rest of his life.
Hudson’s two week early birth was the incredible blessing from God that we didn’t know we needed - because he was born two weeks early, and because I healed well, we were able to make the trip to see Gigi so that she could meet her second and already beloved grandchild. She wished desperately to meet him, and I will always be grateful that God granted that last request. Less than two days after Hudson came to visit, mom passed.
Our hearts hurt. She is missed every day. There is a hole in my heart that will never heal, but I know that her memory will live on through photos, stories, through her children and grandchildren, and through the way the entirety of our lives have been shaped by her.

Our little man couldn’t wait any longer to grace us with his presence!

It’s been a tough month but I survived ! Thank you to all my co-workers for giving me a helping hand when I couldn’t bend over to get items I dropped or to help me get up from my chair , etc .. 😂
Now I can enjoy resting and getting prepared for Hudson’s arrival .

This is 24 weeks!

Feeling the aches and pains but couldn’t be happier.

I’m starting to feel more comfortable in my skin . Not going to lie I haven’t posted many baby bump updates because I was having a lot of body dysmorphia earlier in my pregnancy . I’m working through it and just trying
be in the moment .
