38th Brantford Scout Group

Thank you, Brantford, for your support of Scouts’ Apple Day. Our youth enjoyed their experiences at local retail establishments. Thank you for your kind words to the kids, for sharing your Scouting memories with us and encouraging the kids to stay involved.

Puzzles, spinners and Canada-themed cootie catchers were part of the fun at our Scout booth today. Crafters and any youth identifying to us as a member of Scouting got a Canada Day prize/trinket. Akela and I met lots of interested kids and parents. It was fun to put our Scouting presence out there and important too, especially when some people didn’t know there were still Scout groups around!

So proud to be Canadian and a member of Scouts and Guides. These organizations are growing happy, capable and prepared individuals through games, crafts and most of all, camps. Happy Canada Day to fellow Scouters and Guiders from sea to sea to sea.
