Happy Birthday to Zebās Namesake Zebulon Montgomery Pike. He was born January 5, 1779. Pike was a U.S. Army officer who lead an expedition though Colorado in 1805 and attempted to summit what is now known as Pike Peak. He didnāt summit it but was still given the honor of having the 14,115 foot tall mountain named after him. You can read about how Zeb got his name in Welcome Home. Itās available on Amazon.
