This place was very highly recommended for its burgers and chips. So we ordered the original ShackBurger, SmokeShack Burger, ShackMeister Burger and 3 portions of their Crinkle Cut Fries. All 3 variations of the burger were absolutely delicious, especially with the crispy shallots on the ShackMeister. The stand out components on all burgers was the meat and the bun. The meat is said to be 100% Angus beef. The crust on the 1/4 pounder patty is the result of the smash and scrape technique, also used by Five Guys. The bun is a potato roll made by the legendary Pastry Shoppe, Martins. It tastes similar to a brioche bun, but is made using potato starch instead of wheat. The sweet pillowy texture cradles the meat perfectly, without becoming soggy like a brioche bun would.

The crinkle cut fries were tasty and had a great crunch to them. Unfortunately they're frozen, so not as fresh as Five Guys. But they taste delicious nonetheless. Because of those grooves and cuts, there’s more surface area on the fry which gives that extra bite.

This time we ordered through Deliveroo, in which the customer service was appalling. This is at no fault to ShakeShack. We discovered our order was picked up atleast 1 hour before it arrived. However the order was packed neatly in boxes, and still tasted slightly fresh.

We were recommended this by a friend and were told the chops were the best they've had! So we ordered 3 portions of the lamb chops, alongside a mixed grill and a mutton karahi with garlic naan. We asked for a garlic and chilli naan but they said they were unable to provide this as its not on the menu. The chops were definitely the star of the the show, flavourful, succulent and cooked to perfection. The marinade tasted really good. Unfortunately they ran out of the mutton karahi and brought us a lamb chop karahi instead. We were looking forward to the mutton but the chop karahi was decent.

Although the chops were good, we were disappointed with the customer service. We ordered the mutton karahi, but they unexpectedly brought over the lamb chop karahi as a replacement without asking. We was unsure if we wanted it, but they pretty much forced it onto us constantly upselling it. We were very dissatisfied with this outcome. We also asked for a chilli and garlic naan but they said they are unable to do this, and can only offer what's on the menu. The bottles of coca-cola were also warm and served without ice.

We went for the Chicago and the vegetarian Pizzas, we have never seen a deep dish pizza place! This has been on our radar for a long while. The first bite we took blew us away, it was so cheesy, delicious and succulent. This is by far one of the best pizzas we've ever had without a doubt. We also ordered fries which were oven baked and had a lovely crunch to them. This is a very filling pizza after 2 slices we were feeling the affects.

So we ordered a large doner kebab and a chips well done. The doner was good and was cooked very well they showed a lot of care for the food that they provide to customers. The homemade chilli sauce was lovely and made the meal so much better.

We ordered a whole peri peri chicken with two portions of chips. The order comes with seperate sauces as standard, such as chilli, ketchup and mayo. The chicken was tasty and the chips had a light crunch. The salad seems quite fresh. There's no option to mix flavours with the chicken so we went with hot. The meat might look dry but there is sauce and juices which have dropped off the chicken, and gathered at the bottom of the container - delicious if eaten with the chips.

We ordered various items off the menu such as 1/2 peri chicken which you can have with steamed veg and potatoes, and a beef pasta bake with steamed veg. The food was good and tasted nice, however it there can be too much oil with the chicken. The oily sauce is served over the top, however you do have the option not to have it. The steamed veg is very nice, fresh and healthy. The chicken has a little kick to it. The beef pasta bake was an absolute delight, with all that flavour and bits of chunky rustic beef.

However when one us asked for some of the beef sauce to be used on the chicken, we were refused and told "you're going to ruin my dish". There is a breakfast bar with few stools to dine in, but this shop is more of a take out for local workers on their lunch. Their main restaurant is their sister restaurant next door called Rucoletta. A little on the pricey side of a lunch for £8, but worth it. Very large filling portions. Napkins and cutlery provided. Card payments accepted.

This place was on our hit list for sometime. We heard some good things about these kebabs. The meat looked very good and was being cooked to perfection. We were truly blown away with how the kebab didnt feel greasy, it tasted fresh, succulent and healthy. It certainly was something special and is worth a try! The chilli sauce was homemade and went lovely with the meal.

Franks is known for the homemade burgers. So we ordered the Pigot, which is an 8oz patty with BBQ pulled pork. I must say that the bun was absolutely astonishing, it was the best thing about the burger. The patty was also very good, but it didn't taste as fresh as some of the other burger joints we've tried. The pulled pork was the least freshest and could've done with a bit more barbecue sauce. We asked for the chips to be well done which they were.

We ordered a large doner kebab meal which comes with 1 peice of fried chicken, chips and a drink. The doner meat is average in our opinion, lacking that freshness and quality. However, the chicken was really tasty and seasoned very well, but a little on the greasy side! We asked for the chips to be well done. The chilli sauce has a sweet taste to it which is quite nice.

We ordered various items off the menu such as chicken fried olives, fillet cheesteak sub and portswood poutine. We even ordered a vegan dish called 'p no bj' which included fake bacon or facon as they call it. The food was good and tasted nice, however it was served late and barely warm. They also mixed up some of the dishes and unfortunately, the vegan burger was an actual beef patty with bacon (this is a major mistake).

Unfortunately this was chaos! We had to wait over an hour to get a table, initially being told it would be 40 minutes. We ordered the food and it wasn't hot, the orders came at different intervals. The mix up of the vegan order was disastrous. Having taken a bite out of it and realising it was a meat patty, we complained but the waiter kept insisting it was a vegan patty. It was clear he couldn't tell the difference. They did switch the burgers around in the end, however the other burger was then missing a patty. We asked for that to be rectified but was returned with the old patty which had a bite taken out. On the plus side the staff were very friendly, and the manager did provide a discount due to the issues we had.

The restaurant was very busy having just opened recently. Food was good but the customer service was poor. The meals were served late and cold. The place was nice and the atmosphere was good. The vegan menu was good with a lot of options. A dissapointing experience overall, however we would recommend to try visit at a quieter time.

We ordered a Large doner kebab meal which comes with chips and a drink. The doner meat is delicious! Seasoned very well and it tasted fresh. You can tell the difference between this meat and the meat in other kebabs. The bread that comes with the kebab is so soft and just makes the kebab even better! These guys seem to know what they're doing, this is a must try folks and it was so worth the journey. The chilli sauce was good and went well with the kebab.

Today we decided to take a different approach and went for some Greek cuisine. We ordered 2 x the Greedy Box, which is a choice of 2 grilled meats served with hallloumi, chips, slices of pitta bread and a pot of tzatziki sauce. The meal overall was delicious, enjoyed together on one tray. The salad tasted very fresh however they did pour abit too much olive oil over it. Note the salad has tomotoes and onions, incase you have a preference. Chicken can be a little dry but did taste good. Fries were seasoned well but could be more crunchy. That tzatziki however made everything just come together. Would definitely go again to try the other items on the menu.

We ordered fish & chips, we know it sounds like a very straightforward meal but it gets done incorrectly so often. The Southsea Beach Cafe gets it on point! The fish was so fresh and batter, Absolutely perfect. The portions are pretty big and the price is right! Definitely blew us away, with such a simple meal you'd think it wouldn't taste this good, but it did! This is a must try!

We ordered a Steak Burger and a Classic Tommi's Burger (beef), Fries and a Soda. The meat is top-quality from grass-fed cattle with the buns baked fresh daily. From the first bite the burger is bursting with freshness, especially from the salad. No doubt a top quality burger. The fries are a big portion with a light crunch. As simple as the meal and burger is, it was very satisfying, however the burger could be a little bigger. A different take on a classic, greasy and dirty burger. Would definitely go again to try the other items on the menu.

We thought it was quite expensive but you get a whole tray of meat, 4 flat breads and 2 salads which was enough for 3 hungry people. The doner meat was very good but we thought some of the bits of the meat were cut way too thick. Overall it tasted fresh and of good quality.

We ordered one portion of the lemon pepper wings and one of the mango habanero wings. Also ordered a side of wingstop style fries. The meal was delicious, with the stand out lemon pepper wings. Chips were lightly crunchy. Decent sized portions which leaves you ok. Would definitely go again to try the other flavours on the menu.

We ordered The Gravy Train which is American Fried Chicken with cheddar cheese sauce, chives and secret recipe gravy chicken. We also ordered the Buffalo Loaded Fries which is served with buffalo sauce, cheese and chives. The meal was absolutely banging. The loaded fries compliment the wings very well with the buffalo sauce and cheese. Decent sized portions which have you stuffed. Would definitely go again to try the other items on the menu.

We ordered crispy fried Vegetable Spring Rolls served with sweet chilli sauce, and then Special Fried Rice and Nasi Goreng both with fried eggs, chicken and prawns. The spring rolls are perfectly crispy and the nasi goreng is very flavoursome. The sweet chilli sauce is bang on. Although the food was tasty, the spring rolls tasted much more fresh than the fried rice and nasi goreng. A key element missing was lime slices!!

We ordered a variety of things from a mixed grill to butter chicken, lamb karahi, lamb chops, garlic naan, peshwari naan, tandoori paratha, pistachio kulfi and a banana lassi. First of all, everyone one of these items is packed with flavour. The lamb chops were the stand out dish, saucy and sizzling with onions beneath. The grilled items are served on a hot plate straight from the grill. This is a very authentic Punjabi cuisine. The peshwari naan is one of our favourites, soft and fluffy with hints of coconut. Compliments the curry very well.

Overall one of my favourite locals, just for those juicy lamb chops. Very good portions. Seasoning and flavour will make you lose your mind, so have a psychiatric on deck. The downsides would be the layout isn't the most spacious, tables are sticky, but thats what makes it an authentic asian restaurant. No Rio unfortunately, but the banana lassi is well recommended to finish the job.
