I saw a post one time that said whatever area you worry about the most is the one you trust God the least in. And wow, those were some powerful words. At the same time, whenever someone tells me not to worry, it honestly just makes me worry more. So what do you do? How do you keep from worrying? The best way I have ever found is to replace the thought with gratitude. Even better if you can be grateful for something in that same area. Worried about money? Thank God for a steady job, reliable vehicle, or the roof over your head. Worried about your health? Thank God that you can see, hear, walk, etc. Worried about your kids? Thank God for the opportunity to be their parents and for each day that you get to spend with them. You’ll be surprised how quickly gratitude covers over worry. Stay faithful friends! God Bless!
