ART OF THE DAY 🎨 drawing strong empowered fantastical women usually on adventures 🌵
Some quick paints of cat women 🖤 I’m trying to include more on my page not just one person/pose is there something you are trying to work on in your art lately?
*INCOMING* another character design for my comic book I’ll write one day. Serpenta Nocturne and her partner in crime Nyx the venomous snake.
A little about Serpenta: Serpenta possesses a unique and mystical ability to withstand poisons and toxins that would be fatal to ordinary beings. She can consume and neutralize various venoms, making her immune to most poisonous substances. Her body has developed an uncanny resistance to harm, and she's often sought after for her expertise in dealing with toxic threats.

I want to start a comic book but I’m not disciplined enough 😂 if I was to start this comic book here is one of my characters.
My entry to .art
The start of something new 🖤✌️
Meet Ember “Lollipop lock” Malone:
Ember is a playful unpredictable character. She has a knack for getting herself into tight spots and using her wits and dual pink guns to get herself out of them. Her past is shrouded In mystery and she prefers to keep it that way often deflecting personal questions with a wink and grin. Rumors about her past range from being an ex-cyber hacker to an intergalactic traveler. Ember thrives on excitement and adventure and her main motivation is to keep life interesting. Let me know if you want to know more about Ember ✌️
Here is my entry to fan art competition the OG post is from but I wanted to share it over here to.
Introducing: Vespera Nightshade
Vespera is A dark fairy apart if the stinging butterflies gang. She can control and merge with shadows becoming invisible. Her crimson eyes glow in the dark, she is ruthless and unapologetic often crossing moral boundaries. Her sting injects a paralyzing venom into her targets. Watch out for Vespera standing 6 inches tall she could be lurking anywhere in the shadows near you.
This was such a fun challenge and character design thanks Sarah For hosting this competition can’t wait to see everyone else’s!
Blending and entire piece + a busy day at work = exhausting.
So obsessed with this brush by I honestly might not ever use another brush again 😊
I don’t have words for you only a drawing today 🖤
Reds or purples? —>

If I could live next to a river or by the ocean I would always be in the water. 🖤
You voted for it :) So I went with a blue black dress. I created a little step by step process for this drawing and will post it soon for you all!
Hello, everyone! I've never formally introduced myself on this page before, but after approximately 4 years, I thought it was finally time to do so. My name is Kalea Clark (pronounced KAL-EE). It's a bit unusual, so if you've been reading it as KA-LEE-AH, I wouldn't be upset about it. 🤷🏻♀️ I've loved art my whole life, but my obsession with it really took off in the past 4 years. I particularly enjoy drawing adorable female characters, mostly because I'm drawn to fashion and different hairstyles. Additionally, I greatly admire women as strong, beautiful beings who have accomplished so much in this lifetime.
Here are a few random facts about me:
1. I absolutely love nature; it's my calm and happy place. I strive to be surrounded by trees and water whenever possible.
2. I also enjoy other creative outlets, including playing the ukulele and cooking.
3. I've been working as a barista for over 10 years, and coffee shops will always feel like my second home.
4. I'm married to an amazing man, and together we have a dog named Oli.
5. I grew up on an island in Alaska.
Since I'm sharing about myself, I want to talk about the direction I've been leaning towards with my art lately. I've always had a desire to teach others how to draw and help them realize their creative potential. We all have the ability to do it; we just need to stick to it and have the passion for it. I've sold my artwork at markets in different states and even have a website. However, moving forward, my primary focus will be on teaching you how to draw. I've already started making videos on YouTube, and I might even take the next step and create a Patreon. But please don't get your hopes up too much, as I tend to change my mind frequently. If you have the chance, or if you've managed to finish reading this super long caption, please share a few facts about yourself! I would love to learn more about my followers and why they love to draw or appreciate art. ❤️
Good morning everyone! I’m trying to work on drawing clothing so heres to a lot of new outfits on this page! ☺️
New logo and profile pic☺️
New piece unintentionally drew the shy girl version of the new Sabrina character 😊
I’m trying to simplify my style and create more appealing and gravitating characters. I want there to be a likeness about them when I use references but not to look exactly like the reference. I used to write alot as a child and am hoping to create sweet meaningful but simple comics soon and I will be doing the writing myself. If you have any ideas for me lmk or send me a picture of you and I can practice creating a character based off your persona! Also if anyone knows a good class for simple comic scene making I would love to hear about them!
I created a drawing of a stingray based on a suggestion from a follower on TikTok. Although I don't typically draw stingrays, I had a lot of fun with this and am excited to draw more animals in my work. If there's a particular animal you'd like to see, let me know! Currently, I enjoy using patterns and bright colors in my work, which is a change from my recent pieces. I hope everyone is having a great week so far and that it only gets better from here.
Recently, I read a book about artists and their workflows. One main theme I noticed among character designers was that many of them began their day with figure drawing studies as a warm-up exercise. Inspired by this, I decided to try it myself this morning. Interestingly, I found that my mind was much clearer during the exercise compared to my usual afternoon practice. Therefore, I encourage those of you who are studying characters to give this a try. It may help you as it did me.
Discovering the art of adding repetitive pattern and how relaxing it is. 🖤I also added a bit of texture for a paper like effect.
I have been studying the art deco/ art nouveau movement specifically the artist ertè I really enjoy the colors and patterns and shapes within this art and want to incorporate more of it in my own work. Here is a start to it but I have a long way to go!
My vamp babe with color 🖤
Instagram isn’t doing this any Justice but that’s okay enjoy anyway.

So I don’t like drawing mermaid tales so I created a mer-person for the first day of mermay 🖤 she has scales and gills where she can breath underwater and she even has webbed feet to help her swim.
A simple character design 🖤
Practicing quick figures to add more life and movement back into my work. I did this on tik tok live, I tend to go in depth about why and what I’m doing over there if y’all ever want to join in on one! I’ll start posting that I’m doing one here in Insta stories. ☺️
Y’all here is another tradish piece I did today. My phone is out of space but I’ll have a cool video of this one up soon!
Color pencils with a dream team. 🖤
CONNECT-DISCONNECT.
Did a tik tok live tonight for the first time in awhile and thought the sketches turned out fun! I’m trying to draw from my imagination more now days rather than a reference to create more stylized characters.
Some art I did for a flyer for I had a lot of fun with this piece. Also I promise I’m alive still. I have just been very busy but am hoping to have some new and exciting work for your viewing pleasure. 🖤 stay tuned.
I have been keeping messy lines in my art work in hopes of providing more energy to the viewer. I’m so tired of trying to keep everything perfect 🥱( or to my standards I guess) our theme for this weeks meet up was Sonoran landscape so I drew the first plant that popped into my head. And of course I had to draw a gorgeous lady along with it 😂 I hope you enjoy 😊
