“Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds” ~ United States Post Office 🇺🇸 ** One could also say that is true of DeWitt Mills Fence Co., Inc. !!! 💥💥😬 We experienced all the elements except heat on this job… Torrential rainstorms, over a foot of snow, sleet, wind, mud, muck and ice. But we got er’ done!! ✅ 💥 This fence is located on the top of Hurley Mountain up on Dug Hill. It’s 480’ linear feet long and 7’ ft tall, solid board, privacy fence that is made from all Pressure Treated boards and mounted on all 5x5’s that were concreted into the Earth. It has a matching double drive gate as well… We hit LOTS of Rock on this one- it took 2 men 10 days to complete. 💥💥💪💪 We are proud of all of our fences but the ones leaving your muscles sore and all your boots wet are the ones that stand out… Notice the rugged terrain and the elevation differences- but look how beautiful and straight this fence is- THIS is how a privacy fence should look!! It glides through the woods, providing the most privacy one can ask for… its plumb!! Our Customers are super happy and we are happy they are happy! We think this fence came out amazing!! In reality it took 1.5 days to build this 5’ ft tall, 176’ linear feet- Pressure Treated, Horizontal, Semi Private, Post & Board Fence! One day to put the posts in and a 1/2 a day to attach all the boards. Here’s a fun lil’ time lapse video for your entertainment!! Not quite done with this job just yet but here’s a little sneak peek of the 3-rail split rail portion of the job. This fence is located in New Paltz, NY. The perfect setting for a country style fence… Currently there is a National shortage on Locust posts and mixed hardwood rail, split rail. The world is a little crazy 😜right now. Our supplier managed to source this Pressure Treated Split Rail fencing. We actually REALLY like the quality of this fence. Make no mistake, this is not your ‘box store grade’ fence! Here’s a nice 6’ ft tall Spruce Stockade fence mounted on all Pressure Treated posts that are concreted into the Earth. As you can see it runs nicely up and down hill, it cuts through the woods and has multiple gates! Stockade style fencing is fairly economical and gets the job done, and in the end, it looks great!!
