Today, Polaris Inc. launched it's online vehicle marketplace called PolarisXchange.com! This is a dealer and consumer aggregation of vehicles for sale. For the most part, you're seeing all of the authorized Polaris dealers' inventory, but you can also get a quote on your ride and trade it in towards a new ride. Before you ask, yes there are other makes and models than just Polaris RZR. If the dealer has inventory, they can have it automatically listed on the Xchange. Your trade in can be picked up by your local dealer, verified, and your new ride dropped off at your doorstep! Polaris partnered with Joydrive for their automotive purchasing platform and is one more step towards our industry's OEs pushing towards a direct-to-consumer model. I'd love to hear from some dealerships on what they think of this push and what it means for their business models when the customer is not on the dealership showroom floor to be sold accessories and warranties...?
