Sometimes we jump into an exercise too soon and get hurt because we haven’t build the right foundation. This simple progression is a tool I use to help people re-activate and gain control of their “deep core”.
Step 1: deep core breathing
Step 2: Table top position
Step 3: 1/2 plank
Step 4: full plank

Do you have chronic knee pain?
You don’t need to. There are simple strategies and solutions to fix that.
One of the most important strategies is improving hamstring strength.
The Nordic hamstring exercise is one of the best, but is also pretty challenging. This is an example of a progression. Slowly lower yourself halfway down and then use your hands to brace yourself, then bring yourself back up from that halfway point.
