Full long straw re-thatch completed in buxhall , a lot of work went into this with repairs going right back to timbers in some places before thatching over but looking a lot better for it now compared to the video on the last post . Now onto the next one ! 🌾👍

A lovely little ridge we finished a couple weeks ago in buxhall we are now in the middle of re-thatching the next door neighbours 👍

Nice sharp dovetail on the gable and some more pics of the features👌

Before and afters of a Re-ridge completed in cockfield , lots of features in this one 4 dormers and 6 dovetails lovely one to work on 👌🌾

This week has seen our reed job in cockfield come to an end . A lovely re-thatch in Chinese water Reed🇨🇳 finished with a Suffolk long straw ridge . New cement filets around the chimneys also . On to the next one 🌾☀️

Our current job in stowupland completed today ✅ full re-thatch in Suffolk long straw on the back of the cottage and re-pair / ridge on the front 🌾 very nice place to work for a very nice repeat customer who kept us going with bacon sandwiches and coffees so a big thank you to them ! Onto the next one 👍

Our most recent job completed this week in bressingham 👍 big barn re-ridged in Suffolk long straw with a nice diamond pattern and Reed all cleaned up and re-dressed🌾 👌 on to the next one !

Previously R&R thatching , We have now re-branded and are trading with our family name as the front of our business . Our father /grandfather started this out in the 1930’s we are proud to carry on the trade 2nd and 3rd generation. Out with the old and in with the new vans are all re - sign written 🚚 all new clothing and signs ready for a good year ahead 🔥👌

Little job completed today in coney Weston , Reed all cleaned down re-dressed and repaired where necessary . Steel bars to prevent slippage and wind damage . The old Reed will now see out the life of its new ridge 👍 topped with a round block pattern ridge in Suffolk long straw 🌾🌾 now time for a move onto the next one 👌

The most recent job we have finished was last week , 8 weeks spent transforming this cottages roof . Re thatched completed in Suffolk straw , Lovely features in this one and has been worked on over 3 times by us ☀️🌾👌
