San Benito County is voting Tuesday, June 22nd on an excellent resolution to protect individual rights to medical choice and freedom. This resolution recognizes individual rights to medical choice/freedom (and states that NO business has the right to check vaccination status, require the vaccine or masks and/or discriminate/segregate against those unvaccinated). The resolution written by Peter Hernandez (a fellow like-minded politician…AMEN!!) is based on one from another rural county, White Pines…so momentum is building! Helping any county to pass positive resolutions will only build our case here in Santa Clara County!

We are requesting all hands on deck to take these two actions:

STEP 1. ON MONDAY, JUNE 21st, call and ask each Supervisor for San Benito County how they will be supporting Supervisor Hernandez's resolution -- Agenda Item #43 for the BOS meeting the next day on Tuesday June 22nd!!

STEP 2. ON TUESDAY, JUNE 22nd, make a public comment either in person or on zoom supporting Agenda Item #43 at the San Benito County Supervisors' meeting. Time limit is 3 minutes per speaker. Please note that you have to speak when Agenda Item 43 is called, not during general public comment. Supervisor Hernandez believes the item will be called after lunch, but suggests turning on the meeting (in the background of what you're doing, if possible) around 10:00am in case things change or go more quickly. We will send out emails as we get a better sense of the timing for Item 43.

This is a HUGE step forward to having our medical freedoms re-cemented, if you will, as the majority of our state & local governments are trying to do the exact opposite! We, as our united medical freedom group, need to band together to show our support to see this resolution passed. If SBC County actually passes this…they as a governmental body will be upholding their oaths to protect the Constitution & our Bill of Rights…amazing!! This will trickle to the other counties & this is the epitome of grass roots efforts!!

One Sample Call Script (be confident but polite!):

Hello Supervisor_____,

I am calling today to ask you how you will be voting tomorrow on Agenda Item #43, the resolution Prohibiting Any Entity from Establishing a Vaccine Requirement or Proof of Vaccine Requirement to Enjoy Any Benefit or Right Held By Citizens of San Benito County? Can I count on your support?

If the Supervisor says “Yes, I will be supporting it” say “Great, I appreciate you supporting the individual rights & freedoms of the people in San Benito! Thank you”

If the Supervisor says “I don’t know yet” or “no” you can say:

“I would like to ask you to strongly consider/ reconsider supporting this resolution to defend the medical freedom of choice & civil liberties for every individual in San Benito County. You took an oath to protect the citizens of this county and uphold the freedoms given to us through our state and federal Constitutions. Our state, country and world are at a precipice that is bringing out truths of the COVID-19 origins, the shots, withheld medical treatment & crimes against humanity. Which side of history would you like to be associated with? The side upholding freedoms for each individual to choose which medical treatment is best for them or the one coercing/forcing them to take an experimental vaccine that is proven to have numerous negative side effects including death against their rights & regardless of their beliefs? Will you be ok with being liable for any of your citizens getting ill or dying from having taken this experimental shot because you did not choose to stand up for them as they elected you to?”

• No mask requirements in the workplace for ANYONE. Mask should be optional! Keep Gov. Newsom's promise and get rid of ALL COVID restrictions after June 15th!
• No weekly testing requirements. Testing should be optional. There is no reason why employers should bear the expense of testing.
• Requiring an employer to treat unvaccinated employees differently is discrimination and will not be tolerated.
• These rules coerce employees to get an experimental shot that only has emergency use authorization and whose long-term safety has never been studied.
