Meet Ana. With such a passion for dress designing and creating, she has dreams of owning her own dress shop.

Since arriving to the states in October, she’s immersed herself in her craft designing beautiful dresses for women & children.

This dream for Ana started with Barbie and her mothers guide in teaching her to sew and create from scraps at the age of seven. Her business started out as dress rentals but because they were being returned dirty and damaged, she decided to sell her creations instead. She made her way to two fashion shows (see photos).

Ana’s relocation was a necessity, her and her family expressed their own opinions against the oppressive political climate back home, they faced imprisonment. They sold all that they could and made their journey to Sacramento and found a home in Fair Oaks.

As they settle in to their new community, Ana is steadfast in her determination to build a life of freedom and creativity. Her dreams are taking root ❤️
