Fiddlin' Dixie with Friends
Good Music, Good Friends, and Good Times! This page was created to keep up with the happenings and share events with fellow musicians and music fans.
Not only has it evolved into a place of great memories with departed musicians but also shows a footprint of every musician and fan that has come into my heart. I carry these imprints (teachings, experiences, and friendships) with me throughout my career in music. These talented friends are the ones who have helped me evolve in my talents (sharing tunes, technique, and the joys of music). It's great fun to be Fiddlin' Dixie with Friends.
Happy Halloween 🎻
For future reference 👍🏻🎻

The Diddley Bow is first documented in the rural south in the 1930's. Many blues artists got their start playing it as children. We just created this version of it today for our Instrument Zoo. Check out where we will be at www.fiddlindixiewithlilfriends.webs.com

We found this neat homemade xylophone in a children's park in Kentucky. Sure would be neat to make one for the garden at home! You can check it out and play some tunes at the Lost River Cave in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
If only I visited sooner, they might still be open! Near Horse Cave, Kentucky.
Jammin' in the bookstore at Horse Cave Kentucky! The nicest folks! Free bluegrass jam every Thursday 6-9 pm. Stop there if your traveling through or visiting the mammoth cave area. Here's a little teaser for ya. . .
