PJE handcrafted
Spoons and bowls hand carved by me from western Australian wood.
All responsibly sourced from reclaimed timber, fallen branches and council green waste and finished with Australian hempseed oil and local beeswax.
A little Malley root bowl /salt cellar. Amazing swirly rock hard timber from Pingrup, WA.
Apparently a mallet root is the underground bulbous woody structure or ‘lignotuber’ of from which multiple stems spring, and part of the Eucalyptus genus.
PM me if you would like it sitting in your house.
It’s the 1st of September. To some it means nothing, to others it leaves nothing to be said. Introducing handcrafted wands made by me. Check it out.
It’s been a few years but I’ve finally got around to making a few more of these beauties. 100% western Australian hardwood including reclaimed old growth solid Jarrah head and wandoo wedges with a yellow stringybark handle. Pm me if you are interested.
It’s Father’s Day so I get to choose what we do😁
Jacaranda vase. The neck cracked when I was drilling out so I rolled with it and chucked it in the oven to crack and burn.
A little sushi set for my super awesome wife. Platter, dish and chopstick rest are Banksia Menziesii that fell in a friends backyard and the chopsticks are Eucalyptus Wandoo from a house demolition in Hilton (very hard floorboards).
Apparently this thing is called a salt cellar. I thought I had just made a short jar for salt. Reclaimed Jarrah with hempseed and bees wax finish.
First bowl of the year. Some Banksia Menziesii I have had drying in the garage.
A bit of scrap Jarrah picked up off the side of the road given a makeover.
Old gents saw into new dovetail saw. The handle is 80+ year old Wandoo (and old railway sleeper) which should really have a hardness on the Mohs scale.
Mallet 3 oiled and almost ready to be posted. Any one else want one? Reclaimed Jarrah, Wandoo, and Yellow stringybark.
Wizards work wood as well!
1 old rat-tail file, cleaned and sharpened, 1 turned handle from woody pear (thanks .and.bang ) and a ground and polished piece of plumbing screw pipe for bling.

A little scrap-wood step stool for those hard to reach places. Wedged mortise and tenons does no glue, screws or nails.
Stanley Record 5 1/2 type 11 (1910-1918) restored and working great!
Crappy $30 drill press updated to an ok $30 drill press...and now I know how a drill press works!

$80 inc shipping within Aus with 100% going to WIRES to help with the monumental task of wildlife rescue and care as a result of the recent catastrophic bushfires across eastern Australia.
This wood is HARD! Started with a hook knife but quickly changed to saw, hammer and chisel. Maybe if it was green and hadn’t been sitting felled for over 20 years!
Finished with organic hempseed oil and WA beeswax.
Record fires are currently destroying enormous sections of New South Wales (as well as Vic, SA and Qld). Apart from the devastating loss of lives and homes, an estimated half a billion animals have been killed, including an estimated 1/3 of all koalas. So here goes. Pick a spoon. Name your price and the lot gets donated to NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service (WIRES). Postage additional. Will advise before posting. Feel free to share.
Need a last minute Christmas present? Why not a hand carved spoon? Prices on 2nd pic. All postage in Australia $10. PM me for orders or if you want more info.

Jar’s full. Anyone want to buy a spoon?
Finally finished the other half of the plum branch.
