I made my first (but certainly not my last) Emotional Support Chicken! My husband became enamored with the pattern so I made him one in K-State colors. Another satisfied customer 😎
It’s the most wonderful time of the year (trying to get ahead on holiday orders!) Use code CHRISTMASINJULY24 on my Etsy to get 15% off your custom cross stitch orders. Any orders placed directly with me will get the discount as well. It’s a great time to be thinking about not just the holidays but fall wedding gifts, birthdays, etc. If you’ve been thinking about getting a custom cross stitch portrait made I’d love to chat!
I’ve been making some leftover sock yarn scraps into hexipuffs for a Beekeeper’s Quilt and I realized I never actually shared this pair of socks! Just a simple vanilla sock made with Static sock yarn in the Vigoda colorway. I love the warm autumn tones!
Some friends of mine ordered a family portrait as a Christmas gift and I had a lot of fun stitching them. Their dogs have a blue merle coloration that was challenging to figure out and rewarding to finally get just right!
Fluffy puppy ornament checking in!
When I visited in Minneapolis today I just had plans to get chunky yarn for an Emotional Support Chicken (which I did.) But I also saw this girl in a really cute sweater vest at the basketball game last night so I impulse bought some local wool + mohair to make one for myself 🙈 suffice to say, I loved the shop and the staff were so helpful and friendly!
For this custom cross stitch family portrait, my client requested a KC skyline in a hoop instead of a frame. I’d never tried that before but I’m so glad they had that idea because it turned out super cute!
I’ve been stitching a commemorative pet portrait recently and it reminded me of this one I did last Christmas for a kitty named Pierre ❤️🐈
It’s high time I shared some glamor shots of these beauties! This is the final pair of socks in the Stardew Valley collection, entitled “Fall: The Smell of Mushrooms.” I loved making these patterns and I look forward to making many more pairs of colorwork socks in the future!
We weren’t sure if we were going to make it to a yarn store on this trip but since it’s LYS Day we persisted! I went to and got some sock yarn. To commemorate this trip I want to make some pink socks that evoke DC’s iconic cherry blossoms and I think this yarn really delivers!
Youthfront is auctioning off a custom cross stitch portrait for a great cause!
I'm excited to be offering gift certificates for the first time! If you would like to give a portrait to someone but feel intimidated by designing it for them, this is for you. The certificate allows the recipient to design a portrait of up to 8 characters. This is also a great last-minute gift option for the procrastinators out there 😉

It’s ! I recently finished the Stardew Valley Winter socks from .knits. Stranded colorwork isn’t something I do often but my skills are definitely improving as I work through this series! Yarn is mostly Stroll.
For this piece I worked with my customer to get the color scheme of the portrait juuuuust right and I’m so glad we did! I really like how it turned out.
I have been loving Heatherly for baby knits lately! This is the Sunny Baby Blanket by Lucie Sinkler worked up in the Seaglass colorway.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I started my Whitmoor Cardigan in August when I needed a big project to take on my trip to Australia/New Zealand and I finished it just in time to wear it two different ways this weekend ☘️ Pattern is Whitmoor Cardigan by Ami Lowden and yarn is CotLin in Sagebrush.
Plant Lover portraits are now live as a listing in my shop! Perfect gift for plant lovers in your life - these are completely customizable, even down to the plants included.
In addition to the spring Stardew socks I shared a while back, I made the summer ones as well! Yarn is Stroll and pattern is Summer (The Sun Can Bend An Orange Sky) by .knits.
Just realized I never shared a still of this Shrimp Heaven Now pouch I embroidered last summer! I got these pouches at Target and designed my own pattern to go on them. I still have a few pouches left—any ideas for what I should put on them? 🤔
Check out this matching set of Christmas ornaments I did for an adorable pair of twins!
Heard there was a big game today? Enjoy these stills of a football-loving family!
I loved creating this portrait to celebrate my friends’ new addition to their family 🥰
Happy ! Wanted to share this set of stockings I made. I made a similar one for their baby last year and this year they ordered stockings for the rest of the family! I’m especially proud of how the K-State powercat turned out 🤩

Wedding present cross stitch for some loving friends!
My latest! This guy has a little KU bandana 🥹
Been a while since I posted a knitting project as this one took quite some time! I made this shawl with wool I bought at during my trip to New Zealand. At the time I felt so inspired by the fall colors, and I’m glad to have this piece to wear now that the weather has cooled down. Pattern is the Exotic Wedges Scarf by Dolly Laishram!
Happy Small Business Saturday! I am offering 20% off my whole shop through Cyber Monday. You can DM me or use Etsy to place an order. Please enjoy these stills of a commission I did for a wedding!
This was my first time stitching the Kansas City skyline. Love my city and love these dear friends! 🥰
This client had some recent family photos they wanted me to recreate, which is always super fun to design. The more detailed reference photos and info I have, the better I can personalize you and your family and get your portrait just right!
