Happened to see someone selling a ouiji board so I thought I'd give a little tutorial on how they work:

You open yourself up to negative energies, harmful entities, and bad juju if you: you do not do a purification ritual before opening the gate, do not properly close the gate, and/or fail to purify the board after each use.

Spirit boards can be extremely helpful when used properly. When used by the ill-informed or poorly taught, they can haunt you for decades.

Even my own mother has been plagued by one for 30 years despite burning it repeatedly once she and some friends accidentally let loose a hostile entity when they were kids. This was, of course, before I took care of it.
