By the time I hit my mid-thirties I began reading adventure blogs as a way to escape the dullness of the day job. In those days it was adventure cycling that really captured my imagination. As time went on I escaped into more blogs and then into adventure films. Then one day I asked myself, why isn’t anyone interviewing these people? Oh and BTW, what is the area outside the comfort zone called? The Pursuit Zone podcast was born. This Cannondale T800 was my first touring bike I found online for $500. I sold it two years later and I’m happy now on my Salsa Vaya.
