Turbo won cowtown for us tonight. 🥰 17.65
I wasn’t feeling my best tonight. I had been sick all week. A cowgirl sucks it up and goes racing though.
Turbo worked well. He had the fastest time of the night of 17.81 but I pulled number 2 down. That’s a plus 5 second penalty. On to the next one.

I went past the first. Thought I sat up too soon behind it too. Nothing felt right. Felt like I was falling off the whole time. 🤦🏼♀️ All and all I still had a great time, and just proved that the fastest horse doesn’t always win. We had the fastest run even though I messed everything up, but the +5 took us out of the money. The funny part is how much of a sore loser my horse is. He was so mad at me! Wouldn’t look at me, wouldn’t take a cookie till I put it in the fender of the trailer either. I’m so glad someone witnessed that. Because nobody ever believes me! He wants to win, and knew it was me that cost him tonight 🤣

He looks so cocky 🤣 reared to get into the arena. He loves his job! He will run everyone over, to get to his barrels.
We aren’t very photogenic, but we get the job done. 17.58 for our second win at cowtown 😊
Hoping to outrun our best time of 17.50 one day. We will give it another try Saturday

There is going to be some serious competition in barrels this week!!! Probably the first men to barrel race there during a rodeo too! Don’t miss it!!!! I’m not going to win this one! It’s going to be great!!!

It’s been a while. Turbo and I are competing tonight. I can’t predict what will happen since we haven’t ran barrels, so we are just going for fun in a patriotic way. If you’d like to watch. We are running first in Performance. There is a new group of girls tonight, and we are just looking to have fun.
