This morning I listened to an excellent news podcast about anti-trans youth laws popping up in the U.S. recently. It was produced the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation), but all guests are American.
According to this Podcast, law makers are using trans youth for political gain.
“Multiple U.S. states have introduced laws that would prevent trans youth from accessing gender-affirming care. We talk to Elijah Baay, a high school student and trans activist in Alabama; pediatric endocrinologist Dr. Hussein Abdul-Latif; and Cathryn Oakley, state legislative director and senior counsel for the Human Rights Campaign, an LGBTQ advocacy group.”
