In one of our earlier posts we shared that these designs were created during the pandemic; this t-shirt is a reminder that we don’t have to live in fear regardless of the circumstances.
At the moment it may seem like we are going from one unfortunate circumstance/ situation to another; currently the cost of living crisis has brought back the dreaded feelings of uncertainty and anxiety for many. This shirt reminds us that we are to ‘Fear not’ as our good Lord says. Instead, we are to be of good courage because He is with us always (Joshua 1:9).

The phrase ‘Fear not’ is said to be mentioned 365 times in the Bible. Therefore we should encourage ourselves daily in the Word regarding fear…Christ has given us the victory! 🙌🏾

The scripture ref on the t-shirt ~ 2 Timothy 1:7, states
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

There’s no better affirmation than what’s based on the word of God, and as a child of God you can declare boldly that- fear doesn’t live in you! 🙌🏾

Happy Resurrection Sunday.. He is alive, Christ is risen 🙌🏾🙌🏾

Death could not hold Him down! He has set us free from sin and death. The finished works happened on the cross so that we can live a new abundant life in Him. All we have to do is believe, and follow Christ with the help of the Holy Spirit at work in us.

As a new creation we can live a life of righteousness in Him. A life of real freedom: being alive in Him & operating in resurrection power 🙌🏾

We’re officially in the season of spring! 🌸☀️It’s a season that represents newness, and this is also the period leading up to when we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ - Easter / Resurrection Sunday✝️.
Because of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross for us we have the offer of a new life in Him that leads to eternity with Him; a life free from the power of sin and death 🙌🏾🙏🏾

Hebrews 6:19 is referenced on our Anchored not Anxious tee.
It’s such a reassuring verse we thought we would do a lil ‘take-away’ breakdown of it and the preceding verses (v13-18)

𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄-𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐘𝐒:
- It’s is impossible for God to lie - what He said/says He will do.
- His promises are - ‘Yes’ and ‘Amen’
- The hope we have in Him won’t leave us disappointed therefore we can be CONFIDENT in Him.
- Our hope in Christ is the anchor for our souls- peace (shalom) is available to us through Him (bye anxiety 👋🏾)
- When we repent, and submit our lives to Christ there’s no longer separation between us and God. We can therefore relate to Him as our Father (the God of the whole universe 🤯) 🙌🏾❤️🙌🏾

‘𝐀𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐱𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬’ was the slogan that started Assured Apparel!

We were having a conversation about feeling anxious during a season of job instability (for Ada) at the peak of the pandemic.
Ada has a tendency to get anxious when in uncertain situations but during this period God settled her heart by giving her this scripture in a dream:
“𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚, 𝙒𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙔𝙤𝙪, 𝘽𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙔𝙤𝙪.” ~ 𝙄𝙨𝙖𝙞𝙖𝙝‬ ‭26:3‬ ‭

During the conversation we reminded ourselves that Jesus is indeed the anchor for our souls 🙌🏾

And the (summarised) exchange went something like this:
Alex: ‘Anchored not Anxious’
Ada: ‘I like that, that would be a great slogan on a tee’ 😃

If you look closely at the pics of the tee, you will notice that Hebrews 6:19 is referenced in the middle of the anchor; the scripture states that:

Because in Christ (in relationship with Him) we have a hope that is certain - we have that assurance in Him.

This is an assurance that the world cannot give, so no matter what things may look like as long as we trust in Christ and stay connected to Him we can rest assured that all will be well🙌🙏
