Anything Ghost

Anything Ghost (since Jan. 2006) is a podcast that was created by Lex Wahl (the host). Lex came up with the idea of Anything Ghost after being inspired by listening to the Haunted New Jersey podcast (a group of researchers who took an intelligent look at the paranormal), as well as Ghost to Ghost AM. The idea behind Anything Ghost was simple: listeners email their personal experiences with ghosts
One last dream story. This happened yesterday.
In the dream (don't you hate that phrase...it means: get ready to be bored and confused). I was at my wife's work. They were having an open house. The place was huge like Disneyland. I was roaming around and wanted to eat lunch. I went to where the food was served, but there was only ice cream for sale.
I walked up to the counter, there was a guy in his late 20's, standing behind the counter (which was raised about 3 feet).
I asked the guy, "Do you have any vegan ice cream."
"What kind?" he replied with a bit of an edge.
"Oh. Um peanut butter and..."
"No. Read me the name of it."
"Huh?"
Someone next to me showed me a window at my feet that had all the ice creams with their names. I tried to read one of them but it was blocked off by the window frame or something. I could sense the counter person was getting impatient, so I looked around read aloud a tag that said something like, "United States Organic Agriculture." Then I followed with, "Oh. That's not one of them." I pictured the counter person tapping their foot. I tried to read one, and said something like Kittawell or Kitwell or...and I tried reading them to him...that was the end.
I awoke kind of snickering at the dream, and pretty much forgot about it (except I did try to remember the ice cream name I was looking at—but to no avail).
That was all yesterday.
Today, just now in fact, I was reading about the huge fire in Northern California that has burned uncontrollably and is taking down homes. It turns out it was set by an arson: a man lit a car on fire and pushed it down the hill. That was yesterday afternoon around 3 PM. They caught a suspect today, because someone saw the guy torch and push the car down the hill.
The article read, "...after he was seen pushing a car that was on fire into a gully near a swimming hole in Bidwell."
Bidwell? When I saw Bidwell, the dream came back to me—and I'd forgotten all about it. Because I believe that was the name on the ice cream label! I can't be absolutely sure, though.
Well, that's it, FWIW. Probably just a brain hiccup and coincidence. I wonder if when they release the arson's information, he'll look like the guy behind the counter. :O
Whew!
The earliest dream I still remember was when I was in the 5th grade (so I would have been about 33—just kidding, I was about 10).
In the dream, I remember walking around town and having fun with lots of people (but they seemed different somehow, I can't explain—almost like they were different creatures).
At the end of the dream, there was a big parade, and they were celebrating me being their friend. At one point of the parade, I waved and told them I was going to have to leave and wake up. I remember them all shouting, "No! Don't leave! No!"
I woke up with a smile, and was hoping that I could return one day. Never did.
I can still picture, vaguely, that parade and waving good-bye.
“It’s just blue fish!”
If kids won’t eat their vegetables, try scaring them into it.

WC Fields spent the last 22 months of his life at the Las Encinas Sanatorium in Pasadena, California. In 1946, on Christmas Day—the holiday he said he despised—he had a massive gastric hemorrhage and died, aged 66. Carlotta Monti wrote that in his final moments, she used a garden hose to spray water onto the roof over his bedroom to simulate his favorite sound, falling rain.
And I thought they grew on trees—oh boy do I feel stupid.
I know this has nothing to do with ghosts...
But when I was young, I was a singer /guitarist in rock bands and I lived in Hollywood. I had hopes of making a career of music. Now - :/
I didn't realize what the problem was most of my life, but I have a problem with warm/hot weather (I don't know what it is but it causes issues with me that include anxiety)—and living in Hollywood, California in the summer is brutal. And then pile on top of that, playing in clubs on hot humid summer nights that are filled with people, no AC and it's 90 degrees.
Anyways, when the Hollywood heat would hit, my anxiety level would rise (again, I didn't know what was wrong and still don't, I just felt extremely anxious). So, to deal with it, I would put on music that would make me feel more comfortable. And that was country music, because I would picture myself in the old west and pretend the heat didn't bother me. This was one of the songs I loved to hear when heat anxiety attacks hit me.
I posted this in case anyone else has a similar problem.
Anything Ghost #312 coming this week (by the way).
Have a nice summer (personally, not a fan—gimme the fall).

Hi AG’rs.
I’m compiling stories for the next episode, and it will be forthcoming soon.
Sorry for the delay, but I feel I need to share a secret that I know you’ll have a difficult time swallowing: I’m a werewolf.
It’s true—I realize some of you already knew, or heard the rumors. But that being said, my usual transformation has been disruptive, making life’s tasks difficult.
I realize this is all rather hard to believe, and that I sound like a nut, so here’s some proof (that I will share with you confidentially and ask that you not share it with anyone):
Ahhh oooooooooooooooo!!
The Twilight Zone's got nothin' on this:

Happy 4th of July holiday week, U.S. peeps!
I hope to have a new episode out just after the holiday.
Until then, please enjoy the holiday in a safe and sane manner. Or, if you don't stay safe, don't go too insane: we don't want you listening to ghost stories as a ghost.
Talk at you soon!
Lex
(and please remember the poor firework-sensitive people and creatures before you spend money on loud fireworks).
Damn.

Needs some toe jam.
Thank you for visiting the Anything Ghost page.
Tonight, you will be haunted by three spirits.
Expect the first tomorrow, when the bell tolls one.
Larry Fine was from the Three Stooges. He was buried in a crypt at the Freedom Mausoleum in Glendale, California.
I worked at that cemetery for 3 years, delivering flowers to graves (for the most part). I left Larry Fine flowers on most holidays—these were flower orders setup for "eternity" at the burial.
His crypt was around the corner from an area that freaked me out. It was on the lower floor around the back near a flower room. There was an energy there that I could feel, and it was hate-filled.
The mausoleum is a very well lit place—especially during the day when the sun comes beaming in all the windows. So it's not a creepy place. But there was definitely something unhappy in that corner of the building, and I would avoid placing flowers there if I could.
This was years and years before Anything Ghost, and I had no knowledge of the paranormal back then. I was a musician living in Hollywood.
I revisited the place a couple times since I was employed there, and that evil power is gone. (by the way, I'm not saying I believe it was Larry Fine. Certainly not. Just some unhappy thing who didn't like me).
