Soy Wax👇

Our Candles and Melts are used only with 100% soy wax. There is no added colouring or any other kind of wax.
The benefits of soy wax - Soy wax candles are made from soy wax. Soy wax is a vegetable wax derived from soybean oil. After soybeans are harvested they are cleaned, dehulled, cracked, and rolled into flecks. Oil is then extracted from these flecks and hydrogenated. In the process, unsaturated fatty acids present in the oil are saturated, thereby dramatically altering the oil's melting point. It then solidifies at room temperature.
Only using soy wax as opposed to paraffin wax, they burn at a much cooler temperature. If cared for, trimming wick, you will not get the black soot that you find in other candles. Without the other added chemicals, you get a cleaner, crisper scent released.

Scented Oil👇

We use synsethic oil at Darceys. The reason being, there is a much larger scent selection. All our scented oils however, have not been tested on animals. At some point, we might introduce an essential oil range.

Wicks 👇

Wicks used for our large and small candles are cotton and are primed in soy wax.

Diffusers & Room Sprays 👇

The base for our diffusers & room sprays again, has not been tested on animals. However, this same base, used for other industries can be tested on animals but not for cosmetic purposes. The base we use covers a wide range of products it’s used for.

Body Products 👇

Although we do not manufacture our own skin products, we have sourced manufacturers who also do not test on animals.
