Axiom Survivor Week 3 Highlights

Parents of Grace Fellowship Students,

Twelve Percent of all teenagers learn about s*x from their parents. TWELVE PERCENT!!! Most students learn about s*x through school, friends, the internet, movies, and any other place they can find it. Why is that percentage so low? Maybe because parents and/or the child feel awkward/uncomfortable about the conversation, or maybe it is because they just don’t know how to start the conversation. This is a conversation that needs to happen. Students need to learn about this part of life from their parents because if they don’t learn it from you they will learn it from somewhere else.

This summer, Grace Fellowship wants to provide aid to that conversation. On Wednesday Nights in June and July, we are going to be starting a small group conversation called “Relationships with Integrity.” This is not your “run of the mill” s*xual purity class. This is basically a s*xual integrity conversation that we will start with your student here at Grace and to be finished at home with you. Our only goal is to start and/or aid the conversation between the parent and student. What is Sexually Integrity? I could answer that in a very lengthy post or I can invite you to lunch.

Sunday April 27th, we will be having a lunch in the Axiom Center at 12pm. We are inviting you to come in and review the material, ask questions and take the material home with you. You will know everything that will be discussed in those small group sessions.

We will do this in both middle school and high school groups. However, the subject matter is a little bit different for each level.

This material is unlike any material that I have ever come across regarding this subject. It comes at this subject in a way that you or I would have ever imagined. It is brilliant.

If you are a parent of a middle schooler or high schooler and receiving the Axiom Parent Email blast please let me know so I can add you to the list.
