BSF Montreal & Ottawa Evening Women's
BSF is an in-depth, interdenominational Bible study that helps people know God and equips them to effectively serve the Church throughout the world.
It’s been awhile since we posted on this page. Time to revive the page!
ON THE WAY! BSF headquarters training for the Revelation study will be happening next week for all teaching leaders. I’m headed there a couple days early to visit with friends first. Here are some ways you can be praying for me:
- Pray my household in Montreal thrives not just survives while I am gone.
- Pray I would absorb both in heart and mind all that will be taught by the power of the Holy Spirit
- There are 1200 teaching leaders in attendance plus area teams and headquarters staff. Pray for timely connections with those God would have me meet.
I hope you all enjoyed the extra fellowship time this past week. Wai Han is feeling better and so the lecture is now up on mybsf.org. Head on over for a listen!

Gamoon here. Introducing you all to baby girl E who was born on Pi Day. She already has bought much help and joy to the family and we know she is loved by God. Thankful for all your prayers and support in this journey.
As we reflect on this week's focus verse, enjoy these lines from our notes.
"As sinners, we default to self-sufficiency. Often, we do not depend on God until we need to depend on Him. When human options fail, we find ourselves ready to turn to God. A depleted bank account, weary body, confused mind, or desperate moment offer a direct invitation to recognize how much we need God. We are equally needy in our self-confident moments as we are on days when trials leave us barely able to breathe. Hard times help us recognize what is true every minute. While tranquil moments feel more secure than the tumultuous ones, God fully upholds us on every kind of day. Our next breath always depends on Him. Isaiah urges, "Stop trusting in mere humans, who have but a breath in their nostrils..." (Isaiah 2:22). Do you consider yourself privileged when God exposes your deep need for Him in practical situations? Difficulty brings us to a place of vulnerability and longing that God uses to turn our hearts to Him."
Do you yearn for justice and mercy like Micah?

Have you listened to the lecture yet? Here's a small portion of what we have learned this week in Christy's lecture. Read and reflect on each statement. How has God helped you through your trials and tribulations?
Suffering is inevitable. Though we are God's children, suffering is promised to us. Persecution, oppression, betrayal, deception, and falling under the "other" in society brings aching to our heart and humanness. Yet God also promised His Presence and peace amidst our suffering.
Our STL Christy brought out the deeply rooted aches of suffering and how God is our living hope and helper, along with our steady suffering. Head on over to bsf.org to hear what she has to say. Bring your pains and aches and learn to depend on God, our suffering servant, and ultimate friend.
Are you ready? Who are you bringing? What verse are you looking forward to study? The questions are endless!! We can't wait to start this new study next week with all of you!
