Door County Peninsula is just a short drive, and attached is information about The Red Barn Maze which is located @ 6 miles northeast, and I don't want to forget to mention all that Algoma has to offer which is @ 5 miles southeast from our location. Well today was our day for yard work... some of us don't even care it was raining! I was prepared to replant some plants, but I was amazed at how they have filled out this year.

The temperature may have dropped but there is still plenty of outdoor fun to enjoy before winter

1st Year in the Shanty Day Parade... Ran out of candy and Frisbees about 1/2 way through the route... will need to plan better next year ..

In the process of building we neglected to arrange for landscaping last fall. We attempted to get the process started ourselves and it hasn't turned out so bad!!!! The butterfly gardens are blooming and it is amazing to see how many butterflies 🦋 they attract. We have lost a few plants around the house and plan to replace with more from home this fall. We did have help from Lakeside Landscaping this spring to put in the walkway to the Gazebo and overseed the lawn. It is really starting to fill in.... Scott found a home for his log, and is working on stone art...

The back yard is starting to come together... we still have plenty to do but we are ready for our renters to enjoy...

We had some challenges with our "do it yourself landscaping" but we are seeing some GREEN! so we are very hopeful for grass instead of mud come Spring.
