Today we rejoice because one of us has reached the ultimate Destiny.
Today is the great feast of Mary, the Assumption of Our Lady.
On earth she followed the way of Jesus and now shares in body and soul the glory of his Son.
Blessed Charles of Foucauld:
"Where the Holy Host is, God is alive; He is your Savior, as real as when He lived and spoke in Galilee and Judea, and as He is now in heaven..."
"Blessed be God the Father and His only begotten Son and the Holy Spirit, for He has had mercy on us."
Today we celebrate the Holy Trinity which is the mystery of God in Himself.
Let us take this opportunity to contemplate this central mystery of Christian life and pray for those who are dedicated to contemplation and prayer: contemplatives, that is, monks and nuns.
"Men of Galilee, what are you doing looking at the sky?"
Although in some countries the feast has been moved to Sunday, we will comment today on the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord.
It reminds us that after 40 days instructing the Apostles, those who had followed Him from Galilee, Christ ascends to Heaven.
It must be so that the Holy Spirit may be sent: "It is good for you that I should go; for if I did not go, the Comforter would not come to you" (John 16:7)
Does the departure of Jesus leave us a void?...
On this day, in many places it is customary for children to make First Communion, let us also pray for them.
In Saint Joseph, all virtues are found and to the highest degree.
Go to Joseph!
Happy feast of Saint Joseph the Worker!

HAPPY AND HOLY EASTER, CHRIST IS RISEN!
Today marks the eleventh anniversary of Pope Francis' pontificate, we pray to the Lord that he will govern the Church according to His Merciful Heart.
Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us
Blessed day, today we celebrate Saint Blaise; we ask him that as he healed that child’s throat, he intercedes for us to use our throat to praise God and never blaspheme.
We also commemorate Saint Oscar, the great evangelizer and apostle of Scandinavia.
A light for revelation to the Gentiles, and glory for your people Israel.
Tota pulchra es Maria
* We also inform you that the month of November is dedicated to praying for the deceased, and especially there is the plenary indulgence these days to win it for those souls who are in purgatory:
CONDITIONS
# November 1-8, both included
# The three usual conditions: confession, communion and praying for the Pope
# Also visit the cemetery and pray for the deceased
# If on November 2 you cannot visit the cemetery, you can also go to a church and pray an Our Father and a Creed
# You can earn a daily indulgence
# Confession must be made no later than 15 days
# Earned indulgences apply to souls in purgatory
Soon the month of November will begin and so we communicate two important news:
* As you know today is October 31, the eve of All Saints' Day. In recent years the frivolous Halloween party has increased (in the Anglo-Saxon world it was widespread but not in the Hispanic world).
Faced with this, the Holywins initiative ("the holy wins") has emerged: a beautiful idea that wants to value the lives of the saints and their example especially for children.
Many dioceses have already implemented it, for more information:

QUEEN OF THE HOLY ROSARY, PRAY FOR US
In this month of October we make a special mention of the recitation of the Rosary, a prayer that unites millions of people around the world.
* On our page and on our Telegram channel you can see the schedule of many places where it is said daily:
Lourdes, Fatima, EWTN...
* Why is October 7 celebrated?
On 7 October 1571 the decisive battle of Lepanto took place off the Greek coast. The victory of the Christian forces stopped the Ottoman Islamic expasionism.
Before the battle, the Christian militias entrusted themselves to the Virgin Mary and prayed the Rosary together, as the then Pope Saint Pius V had expressly requested.
Today, on the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, we pray for the faith and courage to always seek God's will before our own, and His ways before the ways of the world.

Today we celebrate the Birth of John the Baptist, relative of Jesus, who proclaimed the coming of the Messiah and who baptized Christ in the Jordan: https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/saint/st-john-the-baptist-515
John the Baptist spent his adult life preparing the way for Jesus, and proclaiming that “the Kingdom of Heaven is close at hand.”. He was born to Zachary and Elizabeth, an elderly married couple. The Angel Gabriel had visited Zachary and told him that his wife would bear a child, even though she was already past the child-bearing age.
Elizabeth was Mary’s cousin and Zachary was a priest of the Temple in Jerusalem. As a baby in the womb, John recognized Jesus’ presence in Mary’s womb when Mary visited Elizabeth soon after the Annunciation. Both women were pregnant at the same time.
John was probably born at Ain-Karim, which is southwest of Jerusalem. As a young adult, he lived as a hermit in the desert of Judea until about A.D. 27. When he was 30, he began to preach on the banks of the Jordan, calling for repentance and baptizing people in the river waters. When Jesus came to John to be baptized, John recognized Jesus as the Messiah and baptized Him, saying: “It is I who need baptism from you.”
John continued to preach after Jesus was baptized, but was imprisoned not long after by Herod Antipas, after he denounced the king’s adulterous marriage with Herodias, wife of his half-brother Philip.
John was beheaded at the request of Salome, daughter of Herodias. Many came to know Jesus through John, namely the Apostles Andrew and John.
Today is the SOLEMNITY OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!

Today is the feast day of St. Anthony of Padua. He is popularly invoked today by those who have trouble finding lost objects, but he's also the patron of lost SOULS. Today, pray for his intercession for someone who has fallen away from the faith.

Down in adoration falling,
Lo! the sacred Host we hail,
Lo! oe'r ancient forms departing
Newer rites of grace prevail;
Faith for all defects supplying,
Where the feeble senses fail.
To the everlasting Father,
And the Son Who reigns on high
With the Holy Spirit proceeding
Forth from each eternally,
Be salvation, honor, blessing,
Might and endless majesty.
Amen.
R. Thou hast given them bread from heaven.
V. Having within it all sweetness.
Let us pray: O God, who in this wonderful Sacrament left us a memorial of Thy Passion: grant, we implore Thee, that we may so venerate the sacred mysteries of Thy Body and Blood, as always to be conscious of the fruit of Thy Redemption. Thou who livest and reignest forever and ever.
R. Amen.

V. Panem de caelo praestitisti eis.
R. Omne delectamentum in se habentem.
Oremus: Deus, qui nobis sub sacramento mirabili, passionis tuae memoriam reliquisti: tribue, quaesumus, ita nos corporis et sanguinis tui sacra mysteria venerari, ut redemptionis tuae fructum in nobis iugiter sentiamus. Qui vivis et regnas in saecula saeculorum.
R. Amen.
