🟢 Pergjate muajit Shtator 2022, Qendra EDEN organizoi 3 dialogje te hapura me aktore te ndryshem per te diskutuar perfundimet dhe rekomandimet e perfituara nga 12 raportet vleresuese mbi gjendjen e varferise energjetike ne Shqiperi.

🟢 The 3rd open dialogue meeting was held on the 29th of September with multistakeholder participation - state authorities, CSOs, experts, and activists. ⚡🔎During this meeting, EDEN Center presented the findings and outcomes of the energy poverty assessment reports.

The main points addressed after the presentation of reports:
📌Education and awareness-raising programs for energy efficiency are essential;
📌Energy data gap impacts the energy policy-making;
📌The implementation of the National Energy and Climate Plan 2021 - 2030 is a watershed moment to tackle energy poverty

🟢 Dialogu i III-të mbi rezultatet e raporteve vlerësuese mbi 🌿⚡🏠 varfërinë energjetike do të mbahet me datë 29 Shtator, ditën e enjte, ora 11:00 pranë Tirana International Hotel, Salla Bogdani.

🟢 The 2nd open dialogue session organised by EDEN Center assembled CSOs and international organizations representatives to discuss and interact about the findings of energy poverty assessment reports conducted in 12 regions/national level in Albania through the direct involvement of local environmental NGOs. 🌿

👉In this session, CSOs representatives discussed the opportunities and challenges of energy poverty measures in the existing energy legislation framework in Albania, in accordance with chapter no.15 🇪🇺 and European Commission's recommendations.⚡

We thank CSOs that supported and fed the dialogue with diverse and meaningful discussions!

🟢 On the 14th of September 2022, the first dialogue between CSOs and state authorities' representatives was held to discuss and introduce the outcomes of the assessment reports on the state of energy poverty. 🔎⚡

The first dialogue was focused on the measures and policies that have to be undertaken for the improvement of the energy poverty state, in line with chapter no.15 of Energy in the frame of Albanian integration into the EU. ⚡🇪🇺

The first round table was held in close collaboration with the local government of Tirana - Tirana Municipality.

🗣The first roundtable of the project, held by Ecodesign and Management Institute - EDMI on September 8th 2022, focused on ♻️ Circular Economy and the 🌱Green Policies Challenges in Albania.

Today, an 💬 online dialogue on 🔎 the outcomes of the energy poverty assessments reports was organised, with the participation of different stakeholder representatives, mostly local environmental organisations engaged throughout the project.

The discussion results during the interactive dialogue:
🗣️ education efforts to empower citizens to tackle energy poverty;
🏢 investments and incentives to improve the energy performance of the existing buildings;
📢 promoting community energy models in laws and local communities vulnerable to the energy access;

, in the frame of the project, funded by held on 28th and 31st of March 2022 the training sessions on with the participation of the grass root organizations and the youth.

The training aimed to inform the youth and CSOs on the concept of green entrepreneurship, how to apply the basic concepts on their daily work and how this concept is spread in Albania, from legal point and the concrete financial supports available!

EDEN center and EDMI held 💬 an interactive dialogue meeting with CSOs and e-ACT’s local coordinator, located in 12 regions at national levels. The purpose of this meeting was to introduce the concept of assessment of energy performance based on the energy poverty concept. The meeting was attended by 24 attendees, representing +16 local CSOs.

The methodology of the assessment of the energy poverty state was shared with the attendees, where comments and suggestions were gathered. The project team of “e-ACT” thanks the representatives of CSOs, activists, and local coordinators for their active participation and contribution to the meeting.
