Cinderella had faded from the spotlight until she provoked Queen Karma. After a few exchanges on TV and social media! Cindy released a few songs addressing the news; which got a lot of media coverage and boom! Boom Party was born; She held a concert that saw Cricket Oval Lugogo full to the brim just in time as the pandemic was arising.
Her concert was a success and turned heads of a few fellow celebs that had initially refused to support her. A one madam Samali was launching her pads on the day of Boom Party; How coincidental! Uganda is getting interesting with PR stunts equitable to Hollywood stunts of Kim Kardashian launching her Make-Up Line the day former friend turned enemy Taylor Swift releases her album.

Rema Namakula
The Siri Muyembe singer; Former Eddy Kenzo spouse turned Dr Ssebunya Wife held a Concert at the start of the year, that sold. She has been awarded brand endorsement deals with nation wide companies like The Rotary Club, Hema and Jesa. Mrs Ssebunya seems to have settled her Kwangula debts that she was allegedly choking on. Constantly parading the new husband on several photoshoots as a happier family with daughter Aamal like never before. Rema seems to be in a happy place at the time. Releasing hits like Clear & Ekyaama. She is a true definition of a diva. She utilized her marriage headlines to boost her career! Sheebah Karungi
After a competitive year with a one Cinderella Ssanyu. Queen Sheebah has had a smooth 2020 with hits like Nakyuka at the start of the pandemic whose music video was shot in her Munyonyo based Residence that we got a forced tour of. Sheebah was able to be booked for a few online concerts that we got to love. Through the pandemic Sheebah has been promoting her Holic Pads Under her Sheebah Establishments Company and later on she dropped a full album! Samali. Hardwork should be appreciated were it's noticed! Sheebah has been a renowned feminist although she isn't too vocal about her political views.
She is winning and we should recognize that!

Winnie Nwagi
The Musawo Hitmaker graced our screens for the Swangz Avenue online concert. She recently faced a backlash for a video that surfaced online with Navio. Many online Slut-Shamed her as the married man was seen escaping the trap to the pit of temptations. Winnie has faced trolls from fans over her dress code and dance moves that most deem uncouth. The Unapologetic Nakanwagi goes for whoever comes at her; she told them to unfollow her if they hate what she does or post; she asked none to follow her! Yes! Winnie otutwala speed. Eh! Spice Diana
Getting more famous every other day is Namukwaya. She is a true definition of glamorous diva. Unlike the ancient artists; Diana has exhibited high fashion standards. She has promoted her music through her social media platforms where she has a huge following. Her poise on the recently uploaded photos is to die for. Spice Diana took the media by storm when she over voiced her High School points to 32 on NTV - Mwasuze Mutya with Faridah Nakazibwe after which she released a song '32' with Weasal. Proof that all she did was for publicity is when she intentionally threw her wig off her head on live television! How strategic! Spice Diana has been linked to philanthropy and has recently done a photoshoot with Rukia a disabled girl. Spice Diana moves with Security detail to prove a star she is.

Iryn Namubiru
After covering John Blac & Daddy Andre's Makanika, the diva seemed to be moving a few steps towards regaining her throne! Having survived death from the boat cruise that claimed lives of many Kampala party going socialites and business men. Iryn was grateful to God who once saved her from a death sentence in Japan over drug smuggling. Iryn has released songs in French & Hindi; Iryn has links to socialite Zari with whom they did 'Tulambule ne Zari'. Rumours of plastic surgery surfaced when the diva paraded her hour glass body shape comparable to Zari's despite their old ages. Iryn used the pandemic to release a new album that she is currently promoting with numerous thirst trapping social media posts.

Makerere University Vice Chancellor (VC), Prof Barnabas Nawangwe in a late night post on Wednesday ( 17th June, 2020) lashed Next Media’s NBS TV for spreading misleading information on the status of the university in regard to the recent alleged COVID-19 false positives from its lab.
