Normally I want to see things fall into place before I say anything, before I post or even share a photo. The past three months I tried something differently land looked into owning an online store. The truth is this is my second business. At 23 years old I opened a meat shop. My sister did all the speaking for me, got the lease, the wholesale purchase and we prepared to build this. My parents stepped in and helped. This month-July marks 5 years since I closed the meat shop. I was so hurt, I spent so much money building this and I felt disappointed. Like I let my family down, they were so helpful and I gave up. I often think about what if I didn’t give up and took those losses from the beginning as experiences and learning lessons, we probably would still have “Top Country Meat Shop”.
Decided to try again, this time on my own, this time with something I truly love. I was already a vegetarian 🌱 opening a meat shop🙅🏾♀️. Sometimes we have to learn to stay in our lane and take the chance on building things we genuinely love, not just because we see a need for something.
The Millennial Nurse Lounge is different, it’s my baby.........didn’t buy any gifts for my birthday, but this is the best gift I could have given my 29 year old self 🥰🥰🥰🥰
