This is where it all began ... I was cleaning out my parent's house just a few years ago when I came across this piece in the basement.
I could not find it in my heart to throw it in the garbage. This was my own bassinet when I was a baby so knowing I would be a Granny very soon, I was sure to snag it and bring it home.
My amazing husband Ron added a few boards to sturdy it up. I refinished it in white and then put a black antique wax over it. My beautiful Granddaughter Addison was born and it was perfect for her as a newborn.
From this moment on, I was in love with refinishing pieces that had so much non monetary value but that I could keep with me for a long time to come. It brought me so much joy that I didn't stop there.
