Art of the Purge

This is an honest endeavour, only for my revision of my past experiences, that I must share..so that

The lord gives us plenty of chances to succeed..but that street actually opens both ways..
If you believe that everyday is a new start..many of us do..
Then by corollary you must also believe that every day you start afresh..
That means you can call yourself a runner only if you have run for the day..
You can call yourself a lifter if you pumped some iron today..
You're fit if you are genuinely fit today..
You're in your shape only if you got 8..make no mistake about it..
What you see is true..the way you feel about it, are mere justifications..
The deadliest trap is the trap you set for yourself..

In today's world, the rate of change, read degradation, is a constant, in every frame of reference..
The entropy of our physical lives and hence the relevant physical system is rising exponentially, as it does..
Chaos is increasing so much so that it tends to infinity. The equilibrium of this system is maintained by the state of chaos itself.
In other words, as our lives change constantly, needless to say, what you had yesterday, may transduce or evolve into something else, desirable or undesirable.
It means to say that what you possess today may not stay the same tomorrow, or it may get taken away altogether.
What you cherish may not be yours tomorrow, because of the laws governing our lives.
Hence, the biggest struggle in a life is to maintain what we already have..
The most unassailable challenge is to keep track of our own selves..
So work on it not just to profit from life or gain from it, but also take trouble not to lose what is yours already..

For me, whatever I have ever done for my body was only for myself..each step I take shall one day cumulate to a significant number, which will satisfy me on the days whence I shall have to rely on laurels of the past..
My body is my temple, it is but a shrine to my lord..and I endeavour to make it worthy..
Fitness, running, it's not an art anymore..it's not spiritual anymore..it's not satisfactory.. because it's been done day in and day out..the law of diminishing returns comes into play ever so often..
Brings things into perspective..
But then again.. what's the point of meditating on our physical selves if we don't wish for a better perspective.. what's the point..
