Congratulations to our learners who represented us at Kabarak for the Nakuru regional chess championships. They all put their best foot forward, managing to bag two trophies and the whole group qualifying for the finals. .

We are seeking to recruit an inspirational and innovative leader willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

Roles include:
• Developing and monitoring the implementation of the Art Curriculum

• Preparing lesson plans on art and art history in accordance to learning objectives.
• Providing developmentally appropriate instruction on art techniques.

• Develop each student’s skills, understanding and confidence through practical
creative expression and activities.
• To encourage children’s creativity and expand their awareness and enjoyment of
creative arts.
• Update the creative arts library and resources.

• Observe and evaluate student work to determine student progress and to make
suggestions for improvement while providing feedback throughout the lesson.

• Assist in direct planning and supervision of student contents and arranging for
creative arts events.
Job Qualification
• Bachelor of Fine Arts and experience in other creative arts.
• Demonstrate excellence in a variety of Art techniques.
• Must be TSC compliant.
• Prior experience as an Art teacher.
• Supportive and flexible disposition, able to teach across different age groups.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capacity to supervise group work.

• Accountable for overseeing the growth and strategic development of the education programs provided in the school.
• Lead a very capable and experienced team and working in collaboration with management, monitor assess and implement systems and processes to raise standards and increase overall performance.
• Develop and mentor staff and recognize the professional development needs of the staff to maintain a high-performance culture.
Job Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in education or B.A / B.Sc with PGDE in Education.
• Master’s degree in Education, Educational leadership/Administration or a related field with equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Successful experience in leading a whole school or section.
• Must be TSC compliant.
• Teaching experience of more than 5 years.
• Knowledge and understanding of the current trends in teaching and learning practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to form effective relationships with all stakeholder groups.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and accountability systems.
