My best tip for eating healthier: have at least one healthy option in your fridge ready to eat.

Aspirational veggies don’t count if you never get around to preparing them.

They might as well not be in your house because you won’t eat them.

It doesn’t have to be a big overhaul, roast a big sheet pan of veggies (Brussels sprouts are a personal fav) or simply have raw cucumbers and carrots ready for snacking.

Put them in a clear container at your eye-line in the fridge.

You can even put a note on the front of the fridge to remind you (and others) that there’s a healthy option prepped.

Next time you’re hungry reach for that veg first.

This is an easy way to start building a healthy habit.

Make it easy for yourself to do the thing you want to do.

One way I stay energized during the holiday season is with green juice, especially after a heavy meal (I see you, Thanksgiving!)

Remember when Friday used to mean rows of sushi at the latest “IT” spot at 10pm?! 🥂

Now it’s dinner by 6 and a quiet night with my husband by 8, if everything goes right.

Our life has all types of seasons and ya know what, I’m glad. It’s a reminder to stay present and aware that this too will pass.

If this life stage is sounding familiar and all too real, you’re likely also in a phase when feeding a family is a must.

I’ve opened my 4-week Menu Plan program for February, and it’s all about ditching the dinner overwhelm with a flexible plan.

From Week One you’ll have healthy, fresh, delicious food on the table in less time than ever before.

Registration is open now through January 31st - simply click my bio link for more info, this is the type of investment that will change your life in such a beautiful way.

✨”It’s still working!!!” .miller17, Menu Plan client 6 months after completing the program ✨

Simple tips to getting started with a weekly menu plan:

* Write it down
* Grocery shop with a plan

When it comes to eating well, it's important to have a plan but keep it flexible. Habits that serve you, like cooking a few feel-great meals, make it easy to eat well because the work is already done.

To make a new habit stick, it needs to be easy and accessible. Write down your menu for the week and post it on the fridge. When Wednesday rolls around and you're thinking about dinner, you don't have to remember a thing - just look at the menu.

If you want to learn more about how to menu plan, I host a 4-week session that teaches a sustainable approach to cooking, and eating well, designed to flex with a busy schedule.

You’ll get weekly grocery lists, customized menus, 1:1 coaching and a virtual cooking class, plus so much more!

I have a few open spots for the winter session so if you feel like “I need this!” book a call to connect in my bio link.

✨February Menu Plan registration ends January 31st and the program begins February 7th. ✨

Warm milk + grated chocolate is the answer.

Toddlers LOVE dipping, sprinkling, mixing… if it’s an “ing” they are down.

I had leftover grated from an affogato cooking class and didn’t want to get rid of it, but I can’t eat chocolate.

Ari and I were watching an episode of where they have hot chocolate in a snow storm and honestly, making hot chocolate sounded like a lot of work and a lot of sugar (grinch-y, I know!)

BUTTTTTT I made a minimalist version that did the trick!

1) Warm milk in the microwave for 30 seconds

2) Scoop a little grated chocolate into a pinch pot (use the tiniest dish you have)

3) Serve milk + straw + chocolate and let your toddler sprinkle all the chocolate into their milk

Adult pro tip: Grated chocolate is also 👌🏻 on a cappuccino, affogato or vanilla gelato.

Let me get a 💃🏻 if you could use a chocolate dusted coffee right now.
