Seems my deed didn't go unnoticed by the Welcome Break i napped in 😂😂😂

Well, my part has come to an end. It has been a fun 18 hours, but now i must hand over to Caroline for all the posts now, and start my way home. He's a beautiful boy, and while Caroline is going to have her work cut out to start with, i really don't think it'll take long to iron out some of his mischeviousness.

I truly look forward to watching his next chapter

Apologies for no updates for a while. Was travelling a stunningly beautiful road, but the downside of that beauty, was no reception.

We are now just over 5 minutes away from Caroline's.

Just stopped briefly so Jackson could go p*e, and also to show him some of the hills Caroline will have him climbing

Apologies on the delay in posting. I needed to crash again...this is what i woke to.

I knew i loved Jackson for a reason....he absolutely loves watching people. Parking right outside the entrance to the services has him in his element 😂

Just had a power nap...Jackson kisses are the best ever!!!

He's such a good boy in the car...made himself comfy

If i drive all the way through. Will need to stop for petrol at some point though

Less than 10 minutes

Under 10 miles to go!!

Sorry its a bit blurry. Here's the 4 hour update.... Not long now!!!

So I'm aware that I'm 5 minutes late with the 3 hour update, but it's quite a momentous update this time

I'M OFFICIALLY IN WALES 🎉🎉🎉

2 hour update...almost around Birmingham. The live traffic updates my car uses is playing havoc with my ETA. 😁

And we're off!!!!

Car is fuelled ready to go, tyres checked, washer bottle filled....just got end of day transport to do at work, then we're a go....less than an hour to go now before i start on my way 😁

I am totally overwhelmed with the generosity of the BC community.

For anyone that's been on another planet for the last week, here is a run down of events.

Sunday - Caroline announced the news that the transport for the beautiful Jackson had fallen through, and this left her with a saddening, unknown wait for his arrival.

Monday - i noticed said post, and without asking questions, offered to collect him and deliver him to Caroline.

Carrying on, a whirlwind of a day transpired. The logistics and other plans were made very much behind the scenes, and then we jointly announced the plan. The BC community went crazy about the whole thing, and it was asked for this page to be created, and for me to update when possible.

My journey starts at 4pm this evening, and will see me travel from Grantham to Llanelli to collect Jackson, after this, we will try to belt out a couple of hours of the 7 hour journey up to Peebles, where Caroline lives.

Those that know me personally, know that i am a giver, not a receiver, and i have struggled at times when some of you generous people have contacted me, either offering a small amount of money towards the petrol, or offering accommodation overnight, so that Jackson and I aren't napping in the car.

I want to thank everyone that has offered words of support, you have all touched my heart xx

Hoping to be in Llanelli by 9pm to collect the beautiful Jackson, and start his journey home to Caroline in Peebles.
