THANK YOU to everyone who helped with donations and organization as we sent two trucks yesterday to Jicarilla Apache Nation. They are on lockdown until 9 Aug and we sent assistance in the form of fresh food, dry goods, cleaning supplies, hygiene items, water and PPE. We had one tractor trailer with potatoes, onions, cucumbers, jalapeños, and mangos. Then I met a box truck at Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico to pick up more potatoes, avocados, watermelon and blueberries. A big thank you to Maj. Daniel Griego at New Mexico National Guard for helping make sure those blueberries could survive the long, hot trip there. Also thank you to New Mexico Air National Guard for always being ready to assist a fork lift and delivery!
Thank you to Sitara Gillian Trumbull and Diana Abeyta for packing things up on Wednesday and to the whole crew who showed up to load items on pallets! Teamwork!
