Our 2020-21 season came to an end and we are so blessed to have had a pretty normal season with a few twists. This is the biggest squad we've had in junior high since I've been here with 23. They were a great group considering all of the challenges we faced to be able to cheer. I will miss them. Tonight is tryouts for all squads junior high and high school. Best of luck to everyone trying out and to those not continuing their cheer career, enjoy your stress-free evening, lol!

Saturday several members of our squad were able to get together and cheer on our junior high cross-country runners at their home meet. We have three members on our squad who are also runners and we loved being there to also support them. Congrats Breanna, Kylie and Makenna as well as all of the other junior high runners! We also took a moment to take a quick pic with the SLHS Cheer Squad and we thank Coach Kimberlynn Uhl for starting this tradition!

The twenty-three members of our squad have been busy working as much as possible throughout the summer with our covid and sporty world to get ready for our fall season of cheer. This past Thursday twenty-one of us made the trip to Rock Creek for our season-opener. I'm so proud of the girls as the first game is always a nervous experience and they plowed right through it like it was old news. Those not playing volleyball took a few minutes to eat before the football game and are pictured here.
