The Brandon Rollin Teâshí (BRT1) exudes bold artistry, mind boggling craftsmanship, and a satisfying pattern of complexity composed of a simple shape — the dot.

The natural form of the Teâshí design is geometric and angular, with twisting branches. By painting lines over the surface of the table, plays with our perspective and instincts regarding two dimensional versus three dimensional space. The angles iterated over and over by various lines create the illusion of flow or motion in a particular direction. Some of these lines compliment the natural shape of the Teâshí, while others contradict it. The twisting three dimensional surface overlaid with zig-zagging two dimensional patterns creates a mind-boggling experience for the viewer.

Remembering our first art series collaboration with . Was an absolute honor to work on this spectacular one-of-a-kind piece.

“I really thought of this as a challenge as well… I believe that life is like a blank canvas. Does the painting end when you’re not on a canvas. I don’t think so. I think that the color that you bring to life, that’s the essence. I’m not limited by my tools. I’m not limited by the substrate. You know? Traditionally canvas and brushes. I said goodbye to the brush. And now I can be free of the canvas is well. What is the canvas? It could be a table. It could, you know, it can be anything. Life is a canvas itself… it’s a bigger idea than the commodities. no doubt, this is an object, this is a thing, we are sellng it. But the bigger concept is that life needs more color and that kind alludes to the idea that art is everything.” -Callen

"Working with this piece was a unique experience," said. "My lines usually add dimensions to a flat surface, but in this case my lines tend to have the opposite effect on the dimensional surface. To the viewer, the branches disappear behind the base, the shapes of the intricate sculpture are hidden from perception unless you walk around it. A truly moving piece, one of a kind."
