My spot is on my back patio...my favorite view of my yard ❤ You see, one of my other passions, besides hand lettering, is my backyard birds. I am a crazy bird lady 🤪🐦🤪 From this spot I can see almost every feeder and the beautiful bird bath my hubby got me for Mother's Day. I have over 15 resident species and many more that migrate through in spring and fall. It's my own lil sanctuary. Nothing gets my creative juices flowing in the morning like watching momma bluebird feed her babies, or watching a blue jay splash in the bath. OK... now I'm ready to draw!!!

Wanted to take a sec and introduce myself to my new followers, and reintroduce myself to the rest. I'm Jennifer...a small town Georgia girl, mom, wife, sister, daughter, bird nerd, salt marsh lover and hand lettering artist. I grew up on the coast of South Ga. When i was a lil girl, I watched my Daddy start a small sign company out of our tiny lil house. He hand painted every sign in those days. That small sign business grew into a successful operation, still thriving today. I remember discovering my daddy's prismacolor markers at around the age of 4. Then it was on like donkey kong! Bubble letters were my fave in the early days 💕 I've practiced and practiced for over 30 years. I think I've gotten decent at it. More than anything, it's in my soul. It is one of my biggest passions in life. And that is how the name, Jens Gotta Pen, came to fruition. Every design you see in my shop and on my social media, was hand drawn with my pen ❤
I'm so grateful for every single one of you. Thank you for going on this journey with me. I appreciate every single drop of encouragement and support.
