Having under 300 hp first generation Acura NSX was never intended to blow people away with its power. With that said, anyone who has been lucky enough to drive one of these on a back road or track will agree - the NSX is a proper sports car.

The Mazda CX-50 was on our list of Best Cars of 2021. We absolutely love this car for its rugged exterior looks, high quality interior, optional turbo, and most of all the price point. It’s nice to see them start showing up on the road, or in this case on campsites!

Opinions on the Alfa Romeo 4C have been split since it was first introduced in 2014. It’s a stylish, affordable, Italian sports car, with a carbon tub and sports tuned suspension. But it’s driving dynamics leave a lot to be desired, it’s underpowered, and only offered with an automatic. Love it or hate it, all these things are what makes it a proper Alfa.
.
We recap the Canadian GP and imagine what a nightmare traveling to the race would be. The future of track days and cars and coffee. Dom wraps the SRT6 in a beautiful British Racing Green and shares some tips and tricks.
At first glance, this Bentley Continental GT doesn’t seem to be anything outrageous - V12 luxury coupe with a two tone paint job. That could not be more wrong of an assumption. This is the most rare care we are likely to ever post on Donkey Racing, one of 7 ever built. It is the Bentley Continental GT Breitling, a special edition collaboration between the luxury car and watch manufacturers. One of seven!

We have a little chat about beer and green bottles. Then a deeper dive into Brabus, their history, and some of the ridiculous cars they make. Dom has some updates to share about the SRT6, it's becoming a serious little car. Lastly we wrap up with the Spanish GP.
At Donkey Racing we typically prefer sports cars, but the Rolls-Royce Cullinan has a presence we couldn’t pass up. With a monstrous 6.7L twin turbo V12 this SUV is no slouch, and the luxury cabin is second to none.

The Audi TT RS is the real deal. It has the rare combination of looks, performance, and comfort. The 5 cylinder engine produces 394 horses fed to all four wheels via the famous Quattro AWD. So it’s quick, really quick. 60 mph is reached in just 3.6 seconds!

There were just over 2000 Alfa Romeo AR 51s ever built for the Italian military in the 1950s. The limited production was due to the Alfa being replaced by a more simple and reliable Fiat. Go figure.

We take a look at the Australian GP and assess the results of the first 3 races of the season. Lastly we talk about the autonomous driving capabilities of the new Mercedes EQS.
If the Mercedes-AMG GLC63 isn’t exclusive enough for you, give this Aston Martin DBX a try. Due to the hefty up-charge they are much more rare. The DBX has unmistakable Aston Martin styling inside and out. To sweeten the deal, the DBX has the brilliant AMG drivetrain from the GLC63, including the 4L Biturbo V8.
Mexico
Dan comes back from Mexico with a few stories and a couple cars to talk about. Dom does some simple maintenance on the Viper and a friends Honda Accord, come to find out it's not quite that simple. Lastly we wrap up with a recap of the first two races of the Formula 1 season.

The Mercedes AMG GLC63 Coupe is one of the fastest SUVs in the world, not only on pure acceleration (0-60 in 3.5 seconds) but also around the Nurburgring (7:49). With Mercedes luxury, AMG performance, and a fairly reasonable price of $82k, the GLC63 is our favorite SUV currently on the market.
DRP 085 - Mercedes AMG
We talk everything Mercedes AMG - the maintenance on Dom's ML550, what makes AMG street cars special, our favorite AMGs of all time, and a look at the history of Mercedes in Formula 1. We wrap things up with a look at some performance car times around VIR, some of which are rather surprising.
The Ferrari Portofino is absolutely gorgeous. With its convertible top and V8 producing 592 screaming horses, it is the perfect weekend cruiser. IF, you don’t mind shelling out $200k.

DRP 083 - McLaren
We take a closer look at the 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor. Does it deserve the Raptor name, and how will it fit into the saturated super SUV market.
Speaking of the saturated super SUV market, General Motors is throwing their name in the hat with the 2023 Cadillac Escalade V. We break down this V8 monstrosity.
Lastly, the namesake of this episode. We go through the history of McLaren, from the racing days of Bruce McLaren all the way to the Hypercars of the 2020's and everything in between.
