Another weekend is in the books, and congrats the the Northstars, whose win over the Adrenaline clinches their playoff spot! Mustangs, Thunder and Ice all fighting for the last spot - who gets it? Coming down to the wire!

With wins today, the Brave and the Bears have both clinched playoff spots! But with losses, the Adrenaline and Ice Dogs are eliminated. Ice have one more game than the Adrenaline, and are clinging on for dear life!

Our second weekend of is in the books. Northstars top of the table, CBR and Ice play to a tie, Mustangs split the series with Adelaide, and both Sydney teams yet to win a game. But we finally get to see Perth next week. Full standings at https://aihl95.com/standings/

AIHL 95 updated their business hours.

Well, the "opening day" of the AIHL is under way, with CBR Brave doing their Brave Live stream. In just over half an hour, Fifth Line Podcast will start streaming their AIHL20 game, the Melbourne Ice will show a replay of last year's opening game against the Adrenaline, and we have all the games coming through on our web site and YouTube channel.

Of course it sucks we can't be at the rinks like we should be, but we can't ignore the bigger issues we are facing as a society.

Hopefully this little retro-hockey site of mine, along with everyone else still creating AIHL-related content, will be enough to see us through the winter, and we get to see all our friends, teammates and hockey fans at the games soon enough.

It's a tough time at the moment, so hopefully what is being done makes life a little more bearable. Let's enjoy what we have, keep a smile on our faces, and wait patiently and passionately for the game to start. Cheers.
