A condensed version of our Winter 2023 (only because IG won’t let me post more than 10 photos in one post!). Let’s not forget the moments I had with laughter over coffee with close friends, dinner dates with hubby and cuddles with the children that weren’t caught on camera. Made do without our van and pretty much ate our way through Winter. Explored new places and rediscovered old favourites. I come alive during Winter and pretty much go into hiding and stay where the aircon is during Summer. HAHA. See you in 9 months my favourite season.

Day in the life. Charlie’s sandcastle fail and 1000000th outfit change, Maddy with her school project (she’s meant to be a sunflower haha) and James completely smashing it at basketball.

New vinyl set up. The sound is absolutely gorgeous. Can’t wait to relax listening my records.
Revealing our newly decorated parents retreat/office! This is our upstairs loft which Tony and I keep as our creative space. This is the place where I keep all my books, paints, camera equipment, records… the lot. This is the place I spend most of my free time in.
Since it’s our creative space I wanted it to be fun and inspiring so I went with a more mid century modern theme. Red oak, white with pops of mustard and blue. Warm lighting once again is always essential.
Most of the upgrade came from Kmart, Bunnings and of course the thrift store.
What I thrifted vs how I styled it.
Thrifting is a major hobby of mine. Haha.
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Especially when you change style so often and can get items for 50c!
The ideal day would be thrift hopping, it’s like bar hopping but for thrifters haha.
Slowly adding to the girls cottage core themed bedroom. A lot of thrifting, vintage items and DIYs happening with this makeover.
