I’ve been a bit quiet on IG this month as 2023 was a rollercoaster of a year and I needed to spend time decompressing. Thought we could start the first post with a get to know me:

💐I am born and (mostly) raised in Las Vegas & also am a Nevada alum - go pack!
💐 I started this business when I was laid off last year + I’ve done a variety of floral projects over the years (including my own wedding) so I thought - let’s make this a thing!
💐 I am married to my high school sweetheart, we have two toddler sons and a chihuahua. Our boys are our beautiful chaos that keep us going! 💙
💐 My day job is a sales role at a marketing tech company. I’m not sure if or when KB Flora will be full time but right now I am so grateful for this being a space for me to create my version of art for people. 🫶🏻
💐 I’m a twin, I love reading (although I listen to most of my books in this stage of life), San Diego is my favorite place on the planet, and Diet Coke or lattes are my caffeine of choice. 🥤
💐I used to hate roses until I decided to do all white roses for my wedding and now I’m obsessed. My favorite flower (at the moment) is a pink peony or any color of garden rose. My least favorite is sunflowers - I will design with them they’re just not for me 🤪
💐Typos are part of my personality at this point - I can read my posts/stories a millions times but there’s always a mistake - sorry not sorry 😂

I’ve tried to think a lot about what I want this business to look like this year, and to be honest, I’m just not sure yet. I LOVE the markets, although it’s a lot of weekend time away from kids, so I am evaluating how to continue those. I will be making some updates to minimums, ordering process and more to allow better products for you and realistic ways of working for me.

Lastly, it’s cliche but I am thankful for every order. As a small business owner, it really means so much that you are excited about what I have to offer and trust me to create something beautiful for you.

Personally I hope bud vases stay trendy forever 🖤 they’re delicate, airy and everything looks cute in mini form. Also white with this dark, rich purple is a great color combo for fall and winter events.
