I am really excited to announce that lots of big changes will be coming next month! I have been working on different kits and projects to help beat the summer slide and they will be available mid June 🤗

But first up is something for us as parents! Book club 🥳 This book is going to be an easy read - which is helpful for those of us in the stage with young children (or any children for that matter) running around!!! This book is called How to Raise a Reader by Pamela Paul & Maria Russo. So go ahead and order it or request it from the library and be ready for our first discussion post June 6! Yay!

You’ll find tips on encouraging reading at different stages of development. The editors of The New York Time Book Review offer great suggestions for books you can try for your children (I love utilizing the library for many of these), but I’ll also share some UBAM books that are great for those stages as well.

Welcome to Shark Week 2020! 🦈
I know that shark week can be fun for us adults, but what about the kids? Here are some great ways to teach about this magnificent creatures from an early age!
