Day 1 at in Brooklyn was awesome! You can’t tell in this pic but my adorable assistant, Oliver was actually a happy boy for his morning shift! 😆 Thank you to everyone that came to this wonderful event! The staff, the vendors, the drinks, the food and best of all, the people who came to enjoy it all and showed their support! 🙌🏽😍🥰

Last night turned out to be such a great night for several reasons, not only did I get to be a part of another incredible Babes event and got to meet a whole other group of amazing ! Happy International Women’s Day from my little Mia and I! 👩👧💗💪🏽
As a momma I can only hope and pray that I’m doing everything right, and that I am raising Mia in the best way I know how. I hope to inspire her, I hope she knows her value, and I want her to know that what she brings to the table in all areas of her life comes from trying her best and being her most genuine self. I also want her to know how very much she inspires ME! How much I value HER, and how much I LIKE her, not only love her, for the incredibly talented, kind, strong and wonderful little lady she is!
Cheers to all the incredible women out there today and EVERY day for being a force to be reckoned with, for being an inspiration and incredible role models to your daughters, for being diligent, disciplined, determined and for leading a path for all women to show that there’s NOTHING that we can’t accomplish as women! Mia and I had a blast doing this Valentine’s shoot! After all she is my forever Galentine and the most awesome I know! 😍 With the help of our amazing photographer Photos by Siobhan we got to create the perfect setting for this shoot and we couldn’t be happier with these shots! It’s been about a year and a half since we started Babe Stacks, and WOW, what an incredible journey this has been!
I’m Kat and this is my daughter Mia (10 year old, kidpreneur) and we are your Bead Babes! 💗👩👧
Some fun facts about Mia & I:
💘 I’m forty-ish years old 😜 and when I’m not designing and creating our beautiful bracelets and jewelry, I also work a full-time day job as a production manager for a really cool, online comic book company! 🦸🏻♀️
💘 I’m married to my wonderful husband, Sal, who is my best friend and who also happens to be our biggest fan and supporter!
💘 Mia is our only child but considers our 3 pets (Oliver our dog, Miso & Sofia our cats) her siblings! Because, well they are! My husband and I are truly blessed to be her parents. 🥰
💘 Mia & I started beading in the Spring of 2021 as a hobby making her classmates friendship bracelets. We both found that this provided us with a wonderful creative outlet and filled our cup with precious bonding time.
💘 We are both super creative, extremely feminine and we’re firm believers that dressing well is part of having good manners! 💁♀️
💘 We are both Cancers! 🦀 Which means we are very intuitive, empathetic, family oriented, animal loving, protective and are highly creative, passionate souls.
💘 What I love the most since starting this little biz, is how this not only opened the floodgates for our pent up creativity but how it’s introduced us to this wonderful community of amazing and hardworking artists, creators and entrepreneurs who find the same joy in what they make and how incredibly supportive everyone is with one another! 🙌🏽

I’m finally sharing (and still obsessing over 😍) these gorgeous photos taken at our Babes in Business Long Island branding photo shoot at in Brooklyn! This was such a fun day with the most incredible boss babes, so truly grateful I got to meet these amazing women and share this fun moment with them that day!
I got to the studio that day and was feeling overwhelmed and a bit nervous, we were running on a very tight schedule and we had 7 gorgeous ladies to shoot individually. I was having a hard time relaxing but our amazing photographer Katherine Nuñez was not having it, lol! She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. She really made me feel like myself! And having all the ladies supporting and encouraging on the other side of the studio was exactly what made this shoot incredible!
Anyone else get a little stage fright in front of the camera? 🫣
On another note, this reel was super fun to do and really easy! All you have to do is take two sets of photos, one in color and one in black-and-white. Add the photos one after the other starting with the first black-and-white one then with the same one in color and place them in sequence. You will adjust how long the photo plays to about 1 sec each and the last one to about 2 sec. Add in your music and any text and you’re done! Super fun and creative reel to try!
