This photo has a cute backstory, and I wanted to share!
I took this in 2020. I was working from home with my husband and then-21 month old, Teddy. It was chaos over here! I was busy trying to get all the work done, give my husband time for work, and be the best mama I can be.
I take all of these images in the living room, usually in between animal crackers that I was handing to Teddy. He was really into snacks back then... actually, he's still into snacks, but as a big four-year-old, he now calls them appetizers! 🙂
I only use one flash, and try to make the natural light from our windows work to my advantage. It makes consistency between images a challenge!
This one has accidental supplemental lighting from the right- do you see how that light is a slightly warmer color?
That’s the light of Sesame Street reflecting off the television onto my subject. 😂

Guess what, friends?
The Tulip Project is back for another year! We have some favorites, some new images, and some tulip products that we think you'll enjoy.
