On tap tonight for QuarnTV viewing, because I’m missing other sports on tv, is the 2020 NFL Draft. Kona Brewing’s Longboard is tonight’s QuarnTina Happy Hour selection.
While it is smooth and lighter tasting than most American Lagers, it is definitely all Lager. Recommend!
I’ll give it a 3.6 out of 5 stars.

Tonight in the QuarnTina I am enjoying a tall, cold Bigwave Golden Ale from Kona Brewing, Kina, HI (also canned in Portland, OR).
A light crisp ale with a hint of citrus. Very easy to drink and would be dangerous on a hot afternoon at the sandbar, evening sunset pontoon booze cruise, or a lakeside bonfire.

Tonight’s tasty treat is the third and final flavor out of the Beaver Island sample pack: Sweet Miss Chocolate Oatmeal Milk Stout.
As the name suggests, chocolaty goodness with a hint of coffee.
I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

Tonight’s offering from Beaver Island Brewing in St. Cloud, MN is their Sweet Miss Coffee & Vanilla Oatmeal Stout. The Vanilla really smooths our the coffee/stout flavors.
I would give this one a nice 4.6 out 5 stars.

So, pull up a chair, grab your favorite adult beverage, and share with everyone what your drinking. Share a pic, tell us why you like it and pass along to your friends. Give detail on what it is, where it’s from, etc.
I enjoy seeking out various breweries and trying their offerings. With COVID-19 putting a dampening in that, I broke down and went to the offsale for a “brewery tour”. My first “brewery” is Beaver Island from St. Cloud, MN. It’s real! Look it up!
In their variety pack was this Sweet Miss Peanut Butter Oatmeal Stout. As with most stouts/porters, it has a full body and hint of coffee/molasses/chocolate flavor. Other Peanut Butter Stouts I’ve tried from others breweries tend to have a strong Peanut Butter finish. This one is very subtle. Very drinkable. I give it a 4.2 on a 1-5 scale.
