When I made my first pair of cow print earrings on the dining table 4 years ago, I had no idea how much use that table would be, and all the possible storage anywhere nearby that I would take over. 😂 Big thanks to my love and our boy for letting me take it over and spend so much time on Instagram posts. 🥴

☀️ One of my fave local spots, the where some seriously kind volunteers were having a plant sale to raise cash for the gardens. I bought quite a few goodies to plant & Josh had a great time getting involved with seeds and making friends.

It seems like the right time to share a few updates, both personal and business 🥰 let’s see if I can keep it brief:

🌸 I don’t have cancer anymore, that’s a big 1

🌸 I am however still in active treatment until at least Jan 2025, so not fully functioning

🌸 I’m slowly needing more to occupy my brain, so chemo much be wearing off 😂 but my recovery from surgery has been quite gruelling, so I’m not expecting too much too soon

🌸 I would however like to come back, so will start popping up on socials and hopefully the motivation to make will return

🌸 We have a date confirmed for the next workshop!! It’s June 5th, 6:30-8:30 at .brockley near Crofton Park station. It will be part of 1 of my absolute fave local events ⭐️ ⭐️ this holds a special place in my heart, my first ever market was at this event. Opening night last year was when I found out about my cancer diagnosis. I went onto do a workshop and tried to hold everything together, now here we are, almost a year later and minimal progress has been made with earrings, but I will live and I got my hair fixed up at the one and only

🌸 Final update for now, this lovely pic was taken by at the Wild Women photography event last week (on what would have been my mums birthday, keeping myself distracted!) with 🤍 this event was mentioned to me by my lovely friend who I met for the first time on the day of my last workshop - we ended up seeing eachother ALOT 😁 and I’d mentioned the idea of having photos through my cancer journey. Turns out I was totally exhausted and most of the pics I have seen of myself (or mirror visions) have been quite a big pill to swallow. Note the scar on my chest in this pic and the big yellow bruise 😁 that’s about 2% of the scars my body is healing atm.

🌸 oh and I had acupuncture in my ears today (what) !

I’ve been running subscription boxes for quite some time now, some of you have been with me for a very long time (which brings me great joy) and some for the 3 month minimum🥰😁 and all sorts i between!

My understanding (from feedback!) is that it’s a wonderful little pick me up in the post every month 😊 and I couldn’t understand the importance of something like that more atm. You always get a little free gift and save around 40% (average savings!).

The short version is, I noticed a red bump in the shower in March, it was gone a couple of hours later. Struggled to get a drs appointment so went via 111, who said to attend the local UCC. I wanted to pull back the whole 3 hour wait, thinking I was wasting valuable NHS time.

It took a handful of visits, scans and biopsies before I was diagnosed in June. I had a 12cm line of tumours, the biggest being 5cm. The important message here is that I barely noticed any difference (just that 1 time in the shower) and 5 different medical professionals couldn’t find anything, but it was quite advanced, stage 3, spread to lymph nodes.

As it’s breast cancer awareness month, I wanted to share this and my photos from the weekend 🥰

My first thoughts when the cancer was confirmed were, in no particular order, I need a gold sick bowl, eek my hair and can I have another baby. 5 months in, I’m yet to be sick, my hair is questionable, I’m mostly not bothered and I’ve got some babies on ice 😆

My latest thoughts are, it’s nearly over, hopefully the cancer is fully gone, how do I fundraise and make a difference for someone else’s journey.

Today… you chose to hear about my first positive appointment… it was a complimentary therapy appointment!

I’ve been waiting to get on the list for this since I was first diagnosed early June, so very happy to have gone and had 1 or my 4 sessions. So nice to not be going to hospital for injections / procedures / chemotherapy 😬💪😁

When I arrived we had a chat about different options and I ended up with a nice lower back massage and a bit of reflexology. Couldn’t be happier that this is a service provided by the NHS 🙌 really loved it. Then came straight home for a nap 😆 listed a bunch of things on vinted, now here I am with you guys 🥰

I’m having one of those days where I absolutely LOVE that I have this business and community. There was a lovely scene at this morning, waiting in the queue with live music and bumping into some lovely local mums. Really great way to start the day 😘😘😘

It’s quite a feeling, usually I would be trying to prepare everything, trying to squeeze myself into to social events that work around all the work, but this year I have set myself freee!! I do plan to attend and ranjit the events myself, so looking forward to seeing everyone who is making lots of effort this year!!

Although I’m sad to not be taking parts in local market events like (although I have a workshop!) and …and the big summer event at Hilly Fields, my website is always open, my stockists are always full (or close to!) and I’m close by if you need to get something quickly.
