Let's define engineering! Here at the Engineering Classroom, engineering is a verb. We design and build together so that we can make the world a better place.

Do you think engineering is scary because there's a lot of science and math?
I've got news for you. It doesn't need to be. You see, engineering is all about using your creativity to solve problems. Chances are excellent you think like an engineer at some point every day. Have you ever tried to determine the best route to avoid traffic? What about scoring the best deals at the grocery store? Do you live for finding that last bit of room in the suitcase when packing for a big trip?
I've got news for you. You're thinking like an engineer.
Now, I get it. A lot of these creative victories happen when you least expect them. You have no idea how to impart loving engineering to your kids. And you certainly don't want to break the bank buying tons and tons of high tech toys. That's why I'm talking to you.
I specialize in creating affordable, creative, quirky, and fun classes that help learners ages 5 and up develop their engineer's acumen. I take it as a personal challenge to come up with the coolest activities that use common, everyday supplies. I love to see kids making three-dimensional playground models from cardboard and aluminum foil or transforming objects from the recycling bin into musical instruments.
I'd love to meet a learner you love and show you both that engineering doesn't need to be so hard. You can check out my courses by visiting my profile on Outschool. The link is in the first comment.
I look forward to connecting with you soon.

Here in the Engineering Classroom, I believe that learning engineering should be fun! I create unique classes that build on students' natural interests and incorporate lots of hands-on design challenges. Whether we're learning about the engineering design process by building playgrounds or discovering algebra through analyzing stained glass windows, we're certain to have a great time learning.
