This from Colli di Luni, Liguria is strangely reminiscent of Riesling in the nose—it’s the floral notes—on the palate there’s lemon, melon, peach. Delightful! La Pietro del Focolare is the producer and the name is “Augusto”, which, coincidentally, is the perfect month to drink it.

Pick up the Zind Humbrect Pinot Blanc, or any Blanc from France to sip with me this Thirsty Thursday Over 30 at 8:30! Alsatian whites are so underrated unless you’re in the know. Cheers!
