I am a huge fan of Dr. Lanye Norton.
There is a surplus of misinformation on the Internet, with a large amount of it scattered across social media platforms.
Dr. Norton spends his time utilizing science based evidence to debunk fitness and nutrition myths that are running rampant out there.
Here is his latest post along with the link to his profile. I highly recommend you check him out.

Realistically the recipe for success is pretty straightforward. It’s the consistency of the ex*****on that is so crucial. Sticking to something for a week or two and then changing it up because you weren’t willing to stay consistent and trust the process will thwart you every time.
It’s perfectly fine to see what others are doing, and to feel inspired by them but it’s never OK to compare yourself. Each of us leads a different life with its own set of circumstances. It’s important to stay focused on your set of tools and how you can wield them.
Your journey and uniqueness is what makes you so exquisite.

It’s always exciting when I’m able to help somebody achieve their goal and watch their body change along the way. 🥹
What makes it even more interesting is how goals evolve. 🙌🏻
Check out my client below ⬇️ who went through a 25 week cut and ✨lost 26 pounds and 5 inches in her waist ✨
After accomplishing her healthy deficit, we made the right moves to a reverse diet where her starting calories were
1494 calories at 143lbs
and today she is at
1908 calories at 143.5lbs 🥳🥳
The most important thing in a reverse diet is slowly increasing your calories to minimize fat gain and give your metabolism time to recover.
I am so proud of her and all of her progress!!

If you want results you have to go after it!! This is not fitness specific. There are numerous quotes out there that have the exact same meaning as this (“Bloom where you are planted”) and they all ring true.
if you want it you were going to have to try. You don’t even necessarily have to be the best but as long as you’re consistent you will get improvement overtime.
whatever your goal is you need to define it and go after it because YOU are worth it!
Craving French toast 🤤but you’re not looking to fall entirely off the wagon?? 🫣
Try these out! 🥰
Mixing your egg whites, milk, vanilla and cinnamon until well blended. Fully submerge your bread into the goodness and place on a hot skillet until golden brown on each side.
worried about it sticking to your pan? I am a huge fan of cooking sprays just to cut down on the added oil.
Meanwhile warm up your blueberries. I prefer to warm them up on the stove top but if you’re in a hurry, the microwave works as well but for no more than 30 seconds.
once everything is finished cooking you can place your French toast and top it with your warm blueberries, delicious whip and syrup.
Enjoy! 🍽
Let’s talk about excuses. 🤓
We ALL have them an there’s an endless supply out there but at the end of the day, you are the one who gets to make that choice. Either you can reach for your goal or you can reach for the excuse.
A big one that I hear is “ I just don’t feel motivated today” and realistically motivation is only going to get you so far. It’s the days that you wake up and you are tired, you have things going on in your personal life, you feel overwhelmed and you’re busy so you decide to invest your energy in other places but remembering your goal and putting that above ‘feelings’ is how you pave the road to success.
For my clients that do put the work in regardless of feeling motivated that day, I always receive a follow up with
“I really didn’t want to but I got it done and I feel so much better for it”.
This is because this isn’t just about working out and it isn’t just about healthy eating habits, what it is about is self love. When things get hectic and you put time aside to do something for yourself, you release endorphins.
At the end of the day no matter how crazy life is you deserve to invest that time and attention in yourself.
❤️
Why is fiber so important?! 🤔
Swipe to find out 🤓
There is a plethora of studies 📚 showing the wonderful benefits of monitoring your fiber and ensuring adequate intake BUT it can also be the reason you’re up on the scale one day 📆 and struggling 🚽 the next.
It’s important to incorporate the recommended daily amount of fiber and to do it consistently. 🙌🏻
🤔What is the best diet for you⁉️
One that gets you to your goal and is tasty enough for you stick to‼️😜
Let’s be realistic, if you’re feeling too restricted in your diet or consuming foods that you do NOT enjoy, you’re most likely NOT going to be successful.
As a picky eater it’s important for me to substitute things where I can so that I can still have the things that I love. 🥰🤤
Here are just a few 🙃
Today isn’t about celebration it’s about acknowledgment.
It’s about honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Should you choose to celebrate make it in celebration of the the life and freedoms you have while being mindful of those who paid the price for you to have it.
The obstacle that we face is ourselves‼️ It’s so easy to come up with excuses for why you can’t do some thing and the biggest excuse being “I don’t have time”. 🕰
🗣There is always time to invest in yourself.💞
Making yourself a priority like you do everyone else is important👈🏻
If you want to be able to give those that you love the best, YOU 🫵🏼 are going to have to be at your best. 🤩
Fun Fact of the day. 📅
protein is not only important for your bone tissue, tendons, ligaments and organ tissue but it’s also what makes up 1/3 of bone mass.
It’s important to have a game plan when you walk into the gym. 🙌🏻
We all know that feeling of walking in there not knowing what to work out and the awkwardness of standing in the middle of the room trying to pick something. 🫣
With a workout program in place, you’re able to walk in there with a plan and crush each goal off that ‘to-do’ 📋list.
Craving some tasty pancakes but not wanting to destroy your macros first thing in the morning? 😩
Allow me to present a healthy alternative! 😍🥞
These pancakes are LOADED with protein and will definitely hit the sweet spot. 😋
Piling on your favorite fruit and add spices and extracts makes for fun and delicious options. 🤤🤤
Recipe in the comments below. 👇👇👇👇👇
The other day I posted about flexible dieting and this is a prime example right here. 🙌🏻
Buffalo chicken salad is one of my FAVORITES and with a few substitutions you can swap the high fat content for high protein 💪🏽without substituting the delicious flavor! 🤩
Dieting isn’t about putting emphasis on the things that you cannot have but more about figuring out a way to have all of the things that you crave. 🤤
on one hand you could go to a fast food restaurant and order a burger and fries that easily costs you over 1000 calories or you could make a burger 🍔 and fresh cut fries 🍟 at home for half the calories and a larger portion. 🙌🏻

This mama was putting in the work!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
By the end of her 12-week Personal Training and Nutrition program she had gone from 206lbs to 188lbs!! 🥳
This beautiful mother of two exemplifies determination and willpower.
I’m beyond proud of her. 💙
“What made you want to be a trainer?” 🤓
In short, because I know what it’s like to be unhappy with your body. I know what it’s like to feel trapped in a weight bracket while feeling that you have tried every option out there to lose weight to no avail. 😔
After months of sitting at 164 lbs, I decided to find a coach but not just any coach; I wanted to compete in a bodybuilding competition.
Within two weeks, the pounds were starting to shed. I was becoming more active, getting endorphins and seeing the scale go down. 🤩 The way this journey impacted me emotionally and mentally is almost indescribable. By the end of 23 weeks, I had lost 38 lbs. I felt beautiful, in shape and energetic. My body had not only looked the best it ever has but I felt the best as well. 🥰
Since then, I have pursued my own education so that I can provide that same guidance to others. Everyone should be happy in their own skin and I’m all about making that happen.
